The WWE Fastlane 2016 live stream online and televised pay-per-view arrives on Sunday night from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This will mark the second edition of the pay-per-view which is part of the “road to WrestleMania” and will feature a Triple Threat match to determine a new No. 1 contender for Triple H’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Almost every other title will be on the line excluding New Day’s tag team titles, but they’ll still be a part of the show. Other feud matches will feature The Wyatt Family, Kane, Big Show, Ryback and Chris Jericho taking on AJ Styles in their decisive third match. The 2016 Fastlane live streaming and TV matches will arrive through WWE Network and various providers Sunday evening.
According to Wrestling Inc. in their Feb. 21 report, there are plenty of heavy favorites heading into tonight’s Fastlane match card including Roman Reigns. He currently is listed at -585 to win the Triple Threat match against Dean Ambrose (+560) and Brock Lesnar (+1000). Basically, to win money on Reigns, a bettor would have to put down $585 just to win $100 if he wins. Placing $100 on Ambrose would win someone $560 if he won, or $1000 if that $100 was put on Lesnar and he won. That said, most fans believe that Reigns will head to WrestleMania 32 to challenge Triple H for the championship he took from him at the Royal Rumble a month ago.
Other favorites tonight include Divas Champion Charlotte who is listed at -490 vs. Brie Bella (+330) and Kevin Owens who is listed at -900 against Dolph Ziggler (+500) in the Intercontinental Championship bout. AJ Styles is listed as a -600 favorite to defeat Chris Jericho (+400) in their match, while Kalisto is a -400 favorite to retain the United States Championship against Alberto Del Rio (+280) in a “Best of 3 Falls” match. The team of Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks is a -900 favorite against Team BAD (+500), while The Wyatt Family is at -750 against Kane, Ryback and Big Show (+450).
The New Day won’t be defending their tag team titles tonight, but are slated to appear on the pay-per-view for an in-ring segment. That will feature a special “Cutting Edge” show with Edge and Christian as the hosts. This appears to be a way to promote their upcoming show on WWE Network. It’s unknown as of this point who will be taking on New Day for the tag team titles at WrestleMania, but quite possibly it would be a multiple team match with The Usos and Dudley Boyz also participating. Don’t be surprised if one or both of those teams show up during the New Day segment on tonight’s show.
Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane 2016 pay-per-view will have a start time of 8 p.m. Eastern Time, with the live pre-show starting at 7 p.m. ET and featuring a match to help kickoff the event. Viewers will need to have a subscription to WWE Network in order to watch WWE Fastlane live streaming online. A free trial subscription can be obtained for a month in order to watch tonight’s PPV, but a valid payment type may be required to register. Various cable providers will have the pay-per-view available for order to watch on TV including Cox, Comcast, Xfinity, Verizon fiOS and more.
