World of Beer, the dining and drinking establishment known for its vast selection of craft brew, is looking for three interns for the summer of 2016. This trio of “Drink It Interns” will spend the summer traveling, attending festivals, and attending exclusive beer drinking events and will then share their experiences with World of Beer as part of a paid internship.
For many, a position like this would be the dream job of a lifetime. After all, how many among us get to drink delicious beer, rub elbows with the malt beverage cultural elite, and receive a paycheck in the process? Working as a Drink It Intern, you will get all of these benefits and more while invoking envy among friends.
World of Beer doesn’t want just anyone for this job. They want individuals who are enthusiastic and highly motivated to spread the gospel of fine brew and only a small percentage among us has what it takes to represent the World of Beer brand and all that it entails. To ensure that the decision makers make the best selection possible, World of Beer is holding auditions across the country and one of them happens to be coming to the World of Beer in College Station, located at 425 North Point Crossing, Suite 700. The interviews will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and candidates will be judged by such notable personalities as Ronnie Crocker from the Houston Chronicle, James Baca from the World of Beer College Station Management Team, and personnel from Brazos Brewery. Candidates must be prepared to let their personality shine, showing their knowledge of beer and food, their expertise in social media, their penchant for great photography, and any other skill that would be relevant to the position.
World of Beer is accepting applications online and they can be submitted by clicking here. Attending a live interview at the College Station WOB location isn’t absolutely necessary, but it certainly can’t hurt. Uploading a video of yourself via the online application method may land you one of the coveted internships, but think about how much better you will look to World of Beer and how much more impressive you can be in front of a live panel of judges!
