On tonight’s episode of “Wicked Tuna,” the fishermen of Gloucester, Massachusetts are hunting once again for the elusive bluefin. As the competition to catch the biggest and largest quantity of their prize bluefin tuna, they often experience having a fish on the line for hours, only to lose it when the fish pulls the hook or the line snaps. See what other troubles befall these warriors on this episode titled, “Snitches Get Fishes.”
As the episode begins, FV-Tuna.com is again in the lead, with last year’s leader Hard Merchandise and Hot Tuna close behind. On the Pin Wheel, Blake is back and Travis is still onboard. With a tuna on the line, the guys are ecstatic, but when it pulls the hook, the guys are no longer happy.
On the Wicked Pissah, Paul has his crew back. Lance and Brad want no BS; they are just there to fish and make money. On the Hard Merchandise, Joe is back and the boat is at full crew again. Just as they have a fish on the line, they encounter a lightning storm. Despite the weather, they pull him over the rail.
On the Pin Wheel, Tyler heard TJ and the Dot.com talking about fishing. When the Pin Wheel encountered the Dot.com, he cut their fishing lines. Dave called TJ on his cellphone and asked him what to do. TJ told him to contact the authorities, so he called the Coast Guard.
On the Erin & Sarah, they have only three fish so far as Erin reads her books instead of focusing on the fish. As she plays on her phone and reads books, mate Brandon is losing his patience with her lackadaisical attitude, while he does all the work.
It is nighttime on the Hard Merchandise, and they have a fish on the line. It seems they do their catching by moonlight. Marciano misses him with the dart, and Jay got him on the second try, a true team.
When the reel starts spinning on the Erin & Sarah, she doesn’t even come running and then returns inside with her phone in hand as they call for her to come and help. When they pull it over the rail, she is happy, but all aboard are not cheering.
On the Hard Merchandise, Dave takes off his clothes and jumps into the bait tank. The reel is spinning on the Pin Wheel as they continue to mark fish. If they can hook a double, they may get back to a respectable place on the leader board. As they have one, Dot.com gets another. The fish on the Pin Wheel’s line is a shark, but the Dot.com has a tuna over the rail. In your face Pin Wheel!
On the Erin & Sarah, as they catch bait, a seagull snaps a fish away from their low bait supply. Suddenly, there are two fish on the lines of the Wicked Pissah. Paul maneuvers the boat so the lines do not cross. They brought both fish over the rail, and Paul hopes it is enough to keep these guys on the boat for the rest of the season.
The Erin & Sarah bring their fish to the dock; it weighs 364 and pays $14 for $5,096. The Dot.com brings in their fish that weighs 169 and pays $10 for $1,690. The Hard Merchandise brings in their two. First one is 331 and second is 457. First pays $16 for $5,296 and the second pays $19 for $8,683, totaling $13,973. The Wicked Pissah brings in their fish. First is 501 and second is 570. First pays $16 for $8,016 and second pays $15 for $8,550 for a payday of $16,566 ensuring the crew is back on this episode of “Wicked Tuna.”
