Every year in Ontario we are all expected to celebrate Family Day and every Family Day the Children’s Aid Societies of Ontario use this holiday to promote themselves as being there to keep families together and protect Ontario’s Children.
When this holiday was created, it was intended to give families time to relax and spend time with each other. The sad reality is, that this is just not possible for thousands of innocent children and families all across the province.
Every year Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies have been proven to regularly use illegal, immoral and sometimes even Nazi style tactics to separate children from their loving families and keep them away from each other.
They do this under the disguise of an agency that’s sole purpose is to protect Ontario’s children, and always claim that they are only doing what has to be done to protect them. The unfortunate truth is that contrary to popular belief, Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies are actually private corporations that receive government funding based on the number of children in their care, and the number of files open on families.
This flawed funding model, coupled with the complete lack of any accountability or oversight whatsoever, creates a system where children are being ripped away from innocent families, not for “the best interest of the children” but rather for the financial gains of a private corporation.
So here we are on this upcoming family day being bombarded with articles and advertisement’s by our local Children’s Aid Societies claiming the importance of family day, and how important it is to spend this day with your families and keep families together, all the while being the very reason why thousands of innocent families cannot be together on this holiday.
What’s worse is that not only are Ontario’s CAS’s directly responsible for destroying thousands of families every year, when children are taken into their “Care” they are often in far more danger than they ever would have been had they been left in the care of their loving families.
From 2006 to 2013, 158 members of our Canadian military died in Afghanistan. According to the OPDRC, In the same time period, 819 innocent children died in the care of Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies! On top of all that, not one CAS worker or staff member was ever held accountable for any of these 819 deaths! That means that it is statistically safer for someone to join the military and go to fight in the middle east than it is to be a child in the “care” of your local Children’s Aid Society.
And that is just the start. Children in the care of Ontario’s CAS’s are often subject to physical, emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of the very people who are entrusted to protect them.
So to all of the families out there who are fortunate enough to be able to be together this Family day, please be very thankful and also be mindful that there are many innocent children and families that continue to suffer and are unable to be together due to a Private Corporation that continues to destroy families for their own financial gains with complete disregard for the best interest of the children and their families!
