These obstacles keep coming up to remind us we have gotten lazy. The suffering that has been inevitable in the past, it is one of infinite possibility. Earth and its people are more aware now than ever. Can men and women open their minds? Seeing and valuing each other for who we are is empowering. Feminine rising.
Identity crisis. People in the seventies, all anyone wanted to know was how to get to higher ground. The feminine were speaking their mind through the awakened women like Gloria Steinhem to name one. But the culture of womens identities as being seen as nothing more than the fluff through playboy bunnies are made is still prevalent. It is not Barbies (a toy for children) fault that the rest of culture has an identity crisis. We are back to that story you keep telling yourself. Men will be men and a woman’s place is below him. Listen to the news reported after Kesha, “she’s just doing it to get out of her contract, but she’s already allowed to record with who she wants.” This is a news report with a serious woman identity crisis. Erin Andrews, the same identity crisis continues, she allowed the peeping man to room next to her. Andrews is a busy working woman, she is not in her room licking lollipops and looking out her peep hole every time she hear’s someone coming and going in the hotel hallway.
Really, both men have come up with the same defense. They invaded a woman’s body, mind, and soul and they want the court to believe it was okay with her. Each woman gave each of the men involved a free pass to trespass. When a woman says no, she means it. Both women are in vulnerable positions, one in therapy, the other in her hotel room. The other man in the news who used drugs to put the women he molested “in the mood,” is using the identity crisis as his defense. These are women said yes and came with him to my room or allowed him into theirs. What part of no do men not get? Two men drugged the women they are involved with and the other one is following her around and still getting into her room via a telescoping lens. Peeping Tom laws are in place you in a place that you expect a certain amount of privacy to begin with. The majority of women and men do not report being molested because there is no privacy and everything is out in the newspapers and the television news before, during and after the trial. What is sad is the burden of proof the victims are put through in the courtroom and in the community. Because the one doing the physical trespassing is often someone the victim already knows, a friends, an employer or a date.
The politician who signed the bill defunding Planned Parenthood. That one act alone took women back to the dark ages. It is not about the people who think abortion should be illegal. It is about women’s healthcare and the fact that a doctor or a hospital is not the only place for a woman to get the health care she needs. Not all women have the access to insurance or an understanding partner. Not all women are within the system or the culture of you work here and taxes are taken out there and your healthcare is made viable by the insurance that doesn’t work for everyone. Poor women, which include the working poor, are left to fend for themselves. There is no such thing as going to other healthcare providers.
One in five women has been to Planned Parenthood. Pap smears, rape, breast cancer detection, STD testing, pregnancy prevention and family planning. There is no other agency that provides this kind of care, a place where women and men can go in and sit across the table from someone who looks like them and can get the help they need.
Humanity rising. Wouldn’t it be good if we could live a life this way, one life in which all the petty garbage didn’t exist. I think John Lennon had a better, more poetic way of saying that in his song “Imagine.” If people minded their own business and health care business and kept their noses and hands to their self it would work. What causes the problem is voting that there should be a law that everyone should go by. If that means the government is paying for it then the “red tape” is just getting started. If you are making people do anything “one size fits all” then you have opened hundreds of cans of worms hence rolls and miles of more red tape.
Kesha, we are talking someone who was under the age of 18 at the start of her music career. Parents where are her parents. Number one, is the producer keeping his hands to himself and respecting her boundaries. We can’t get people to take care of land or animals with respect. There are laws made just for the relationship of an older man and a young lady for that reason. Erin Andrews, her space was invaded. What makes this story difficult to render is the age of young women who release “sex tapes” and rise to fame (sick) in the name of “I don’t know how it was released.” Bill Cosby is a cultural phenomenon with a big red flag attached to it. If it happened once it is one time too many.
For the politician’s defunding signature, a woman’s health is not to be fought in the street with signs and warring sides. A woman’s health is nobody’s business but her own. It should be kept private. She should be able to seek the care she needs in a safe and sanitary measure, and one of safety, in her own community.
Imagine if the tables were turned and these were men. Young boys and girls do have the same issues against adults who don’t keep their hands to themselves. If men had the same health issues as women health care would not at all look the way it does now for women. You want to pull the funds on abortions, then how and who will take care of all the children who will be born. People are already complaining too many people are getting too many handouts.
