“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” is kicking off the month of February with some familiar reality TV stars appearing to compete for charities close to their hearts. When Chris Harrison joined the game show as host, it only seemed natural to have some “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” fan favorites reunite. The popular game show is about to kick off “Bachelor Fan Favorites Week”for the second time. Examiner received a press release Thursday highlighting all the details of the upcoming episodes that “Bachelor” fans will not want to miss!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. is first up on the agenda to kick off the week. He will be appearing on episodes airing Monday and Tuesday. Arie was a fan favorite when he appeared on season 8 of “The Bachelorette” with Emily Maynard Johnson. His name popped back up last year when there were talks of him possibly becoming “The Bachelor.” While that plan didn’t work out, Arie still has a successful career as a race-car driver. He will playing “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” in hopes of raising money for Children’s Miracle Network at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In a video clip revealed to Examiner, Arie answered a question correctly to bring his running total to $30,000. Don’t miss him Feb. 1 to see how much he wins for charity!
Next up on Tuesday is Courtney Robertson. Fans will remember her as the final rose recipient during Ben Flajnik’s season of “The Bachelor.” The relationship between the two did not last and Robertson released a book last June about her experiences on the show. This coming week she will be playing for a chance to win money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
Wednesday and Thursday fans will see Bob Guiney play the game in hopes of winning money for Food Finders. He was the season 4 “Bachelor” and while he didn’t find true love on the show, he recently became engaged and is happy. He took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Chris Harrison on the set of “Millionaire.” He captioned the photo, “Excited for next week.” At one point Guiney reminisces about his first rose ceremony when his mother showed up. He says he didn’t invite her and the two share a laugh when Harrison announces that he did.
Season 3 “Bachelor” Andrew Firestone will be appearing Thursday trying to win money for MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration and Innovation. In a video clip, Firestone is seen waving his arms up and down while Harrison tells him he looks as if he is trying to make a snow angel. While Firestone did not marry his final lady on the reality TV, he did find his true love and marry her in 2008.
To wrap up the week, Marquel Martin will be appearing on Friday. Martin was a contestant on season ten of “The Bachelorette,” featuring Andi Dorfman. He also appeared on a season of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Fans loved him and many were rooting for him to be the next leading man on “The Bachelor.” Martin will be trying to win money to support Make A Wish, Southern Nevada Chapter.
