Murphy Lee, talented Grammy award winning musician and member of the notorious musical group St. Lunatics’ performed live for a packed house in Topeka, KS. After the show Murphy Lee took a few minutes to announce his new line of Vape. Vape Ya Tailfeather is available online now and in 15 states. Exclusively listed on-line from The Vape Room of Oakville, MO. This premium vape juice comes in a variety of delicious flavors, including Pineapple, Kiwi Green Apple.
These vape products are a healthy alternative to smoking tobacco. Murphy Lee and his brother Kyjuan-also co-member of St. Lunatics- assisted their beloved mother with ceasing smoking tobacco, by introducing her to this healthy alternative. It was said, that Lee’s mother smoked two packs a day, and as a child he would break her cigarettes in attempts to get her to quit. Now, that childhood hope has become a reality. One year ago his mother made the switch to Vape and has not returned to smoking.
Here is what Murphy Lee had to say to the Examiner.
Other than the St. Lunatics, what is your musical backgrounds and history?
All I know is the Lunatics, from day one till day million.
How did you get started with them?
We all family. Some groups, grew up together, but we family.
How would you describe your music style to people?
Fun, exciting, different, unique and I would also say dope.
What do you write your songs about, or what do you write about?
I mainly write about how tight I am, how good of a rapper I am, you know. I rap about parting, life stories, things that are going on in the world. A lot of different things, whatever the beat makes me do.
What is your personal writing process?
I really just listen to the beat, start writing and go in.
What is your new album going to be about? What can fans expect from it?
The album “Back to the basics” is available right now and it’s a great album, fifteen tracks. The production is amazing. The songs are amazing.
You mentioned during the show that, you went old school with the producer you worked with. Can you explain more about that?
Yeah, JD is one of the first guys we worked with in the game. He is the guy we did all the great work with. So, he went back in the basement and created some new madness. We seen that there was a lane wide open for our type of style.
How would you describe success? What does that mean to you?
Success is consistency plus grind plus outcome.
What is one thing that you would like to bring to your stage performance that you have not done, yet?
I’ve done it before, but I like to implement live band.
You guys seem very energetic on stage and liven up the crowd well. Is there anything that you do beforehand to prepare for a stage performance?
You know a little crownnapple and a little wine.
How well would you rate your live performance?
Like out of ten?
I rate it about an eight and a half, give myself time to grow.
What is the craziest thing you have seen in the crowd or experienced at a show?
Probably just nakedness, it’s always good.
So, you mentioned that the tour was taking you to smaller towns and venues. Do you feel the is good for your fans and for more artists to tour there? Why did you choose to do that?
Because, it is a big world and people don’t understand that. Sometimes, they go to the big cities, like home. We really go where they send you. You know what I’m saying? So, I think if someone sends for somebody, they will come. A lot of times I find when I go to cities like that, they don’t get a lot of stuff. So, I wanna fill that void.
So, as an artist do you prefer playing in larger cities or these smaller cities and venues?
I like it all. Like tomorrow, I might be in front of forty thousand, today we were in front of twenty people. So, it changes. I love that switch up, because it is up close and personal sometimes. But, sometimes it is just the biggest stage of all time where you don’t see nobody.
Are you making any new music videos that we can look forward to?
Yeah, go on YouTube follow us, Murphy Lee V.S. Jay E. Just search Murphy Lee, I got about seven or eight new videos I just dropped in the past six, seven months. Yeah, just tune in.

What does it taste like?
It’s tastes good. We got a Pineapple now and later, it’s so fire. We also got a Kiwi Greenapple, that’s fire. And we also got this brand called Grandie. It’s crazy its like graham crackers and banana, it’s so good.
After thanking Murphy Lee for talking to us, he gave us a sampler of his premium vape juice. Vape Ya Tailfeather was delicious and very enjoyable. The flavors are smooth and taste very good. One of the best vape flavors I have ever tasted was the pineapple now and later that Lee let us try. The vape juices are definitely worth trying, if you vape.
