TV5MONDE USA has some great programming for March. The first highlight is a fashion special called “One day, a destiny.” It’s about Francoise Giroud, who wrote for Elle Magazine and became a strong support for women’s rights and leadership. That will be airing tonight, March 8 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
“Mascarades” a 2008 comedy will be airing on March 14 at 12 a.m. ET. The Cesar nominated film chronicles the life of Mounir Mekbek. He’s a small town socialite that dreams of becoming accepted by his fellow neighbors. Well his younger sister starts to cause problems, so he tries to marry her off. He can’t find a suitor, so he creates an imaginary one. Lyes Salem starred as Mounir.
“The Man with the Silver Eyes” is a crime 1985 film, that will be airing at 9:30 p.m. ET on March 15. Alain Souchon starred in the ’80s film about an armed robber, that is being persuade by two ruthless detectives. On March 16 is a 2012 TV series called “Unite 9.” Episode 1 and 2 will be airing at 12 a.m. ET.
Back in the ’80s with the drama “As Right Bank, Left Bank.” It’s a 1984 film about an lawyer that decides to represent a treacherous investor. He falls in love with the victim, Sacha. Both Gerard Depardieu and Nathalie Baye starred in “As Right, Left Bank.” It will be airing on March 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
For those like adventure cartoons will be interested in watching “Super 4.” “Super 4” will be airing on March 21 at 6:20 p.m. ET. “Miraculum” is the next highlight. The 2014 drama will be airing on March 22 at 9:30 p.m. ET. The drama starred Xavier Dolan as Etienne.
The last two highlights are “Betty” and “The World is Like That.” “Betty” is a 1992 drama that will be airing on March 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET. “Betty” is a popular French film that starred Stephane Audran and Marie Trintignant. The last one, “The World is Like That” is a 2013 documentary. Airing on March 26 at 12:55 p.m. ET, it’s about five detainees that are being exiled from areas like Senegal, Kosovo, Gambia, and Cameroon. So those are some highlights from TV5MONDE USA.
