German Chancellor Angela Merkel is suppressing free speech by allowing Turkey to prosecute comedian Jan Böhmermann after he called Turkey’s Muslim president Tayyip Erdogan a “goat f*cker” who watches child porn.
Böhmermann made the joke in a satirical poem he read on German television. If convicted, Böhmermann — one of Germany’s most popular comedians — faces up to 5 years in jail, the BBC reported (see video).
Merkel is being slammed for censoring the free speech rights of a German citizen to placate Muslim dictator Erdogan, whose help she needs to stem the tsunami of Muslim refugees pouring into the EU. Under an obscure German law, insulting a foreign head of state is illegal, and perpetrators can only be prosecuted if a foreign government requests it.
Earlier this week, ? delicate flower Erdogan ? — who has prosecuted others for insulting him — sent a “formal request” asking that charges be pressed against Böhmermann. Merkel had previously thought the matter was resolved after she phoned Turkish prime minister Ahmet Davutoglu and publicly condemned the satirical poem.
Angela recently admitted the Muslim refugee crisis in Europe is out of control after the mass sexual assaults by 1,000 Muslim migrants/refugees in Cologne, Germany, on New Year’s Eve, as Examiner has reported.
Refugees are coming to Europe and we are vulnerable because we do not yet have the order, the control, that we’d like to have.”
Merkel, who welcomed 1.5 million Muslim refugees into Germany in 2015 (and posed for countless selfies with them), has faced increased calls to resign after more than 821 women were groped, robbed or raped on Dec. 31, 2015 in Cologne.
Outrage in Europe and around the world is also growing amid revelations the media was pressured to censor their coverage of crimes committed by Muslim immigrants to prevent backlash against refugees.
Critics are furious Merkel is more worried about the potential backlash against Muslim migrants than the safety of German citizens, whose tax dollars support both her and the country’s generous refugee program.
Meanwhile, Europe is struggling with an unprecedented Muslim rape epidemic. Islamic law and tradition condones rape of “infidel” women; in fact, it’s encouraged to help them “convert” to Islam. Rape is considered the “woman’s fault,” because she would not have been raped if she had dressed modestly, or if she had stayed home like a “good Muslim woman.”
Rapes have soared in England, Sweden, Germany and Norway during the past few years after they took in millions of Muslim refugees and migrants from the Middle East and North Africa.
