Movieguide. org reports that the “The Masked Saint” is about a “… professional wrestler who becomes the pastor of small failing church in suburban Michigan while becoming a crime vigilante with a secret identity. Inspired by a true story, The Masked Saint is surprisingly good and rather entertaining. Despite a somewhat unorthodox storyline, The Masked Saint has an inspiring Christian worldview with strong moral lessons, but caution is advised for violence and brief references to prostitution.”
Sonoma Christian Home.com (SCH) reports that “13 HOURS” “…depicts the courage and sacrifice of the men who fought to save the lives of their fellow citizens in Benghazi against overwhelming forces.” SCH posts quotations from the movie, “…Faith teaches you how to live with courage, how to live with honor, gives you something to strive for. To me, that’s the American spirit….I’ve always had that strong relationship with God. And that’s what’s gotten me through in life.” This movie graphically depicts what happened on the evening of the eleventh anniversary of the September 11 attacks, when a group of Islamic militants attacked the American diplomatic compound and a nearby CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya. SCH tells how CIA security contractors, military veterans who served with the Navy SEALS, Marine Force Recon and Army Special Force, undertook a desperate defense of the American Ambassador and his staff within the diplomatic compound. SCH reports on the courage and sacrifice of the men who fought to save the lives of their fellow citizens in Benghazi against overwhelming forces. SCH reports that “…they knew they were headed into a doomed battle, but their honor and bravery committed them to protect as many lives as possible.” Michael Bay has directed the movie that features John Krasinski, Max Martini, and Toby Stevens. SCH shares a video that recounts what was most important to the men headed to battle, which was their faith, belief in God, and their conviction to do the right thing, even if it meant sacrificing their lives. The movie’s official site also provides multiple videos that include featurettes and trailers.
