Most beautiful moments
Exquisite shades of emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue and canary yellow were popular color choices for many of Hollywood’s leading ladies. A favorite red carpet look from the evening was seen on the Blindspot’s, Jamie Alexander. Jamie stepped onto the red carpet clad in a black Genny gown with metallic green geometric details, plunging neckline and a voluminous skirt with hidden pockets. The glamourous look was simply yet perfectly accessorized by an emerald ring and earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.
Shameless star, Emmy Rossum looked was a beauty to behold in a red Giorgio Armani Privé dress, diamond necklace and earrings. Actress Jennifer Lawrence captivated her fans in a red gown with cutouts that was custom designed for her by Dior. A diamond choker and sleek updo completed J. Law’s Golden Globe red carpet look.
Deeper shades of red were worn by Meadowland star, Olivia Wilde. Olivia wore a custom designed, sequined gown from Michael Kors accessorized by a Bulgari Heritage necklace and High Jewellery ring. Zendaya, one of the most talked about stars of the evening, wore a garnet hued Marchesa dress with a plunging neckline. The severity of the deep v-neck on the young starlet was softly balanced by intricate stitching and a three-tiered floor length skirt that was cinched at the waist. Proving to be a young lady that exhibits grace and maturity well beyond her years, Zendaya made the following statement during a red carpet interview last night, “I want to be a positive influence. That’s how I’m going to change the game.”
Best dressed ladies who chose blue as their signature dress shade for last night’s red carpet event include Gina Rodriguez, Julianne Moore and Jenna Dewan. Gina wore a sapphire blue off-the-shoulder design by Zac Posen accessorized with diamonds by Neil Lane. Julianne Moore sparkled in a blue sequined gown by Tom Ford. Jenna Dewan a/k/a Mrs. Channing Tatum wore a sequined blue couture dress from Zuhair Murad.
Several celebrities were seen in bright yellow during last night’s red carpet event for the Golden Globe Awards. Perhaps the most talked about dress of the entire evening was worn by the Shades of Blue star, Jennifer Lopez. Less risqué than J.Lo’s typical red carpet attire, the warm and sunny yellow Giambattisa Valli dress featured a matching cape and thigh-high front slit. The look was accessorized with a reported 240 carats of Harry Winston diamonds.
And finally, the celebrity that dominated the Golden Globes red carpet event last night is first time Golden Globe winner, Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga emulated Marilyn Monroe’s iconic beauty and classic style in a black off-the-shoulder Versace gown, platinum-dyed vintage hairstyle and retro with winged liner and faux lashes. It was without a doubt her most gorgeous public appearance to date!
