“Ride Along 2” has a shot at being the movie that finally takes down “Star Wars” at the box office this weekend. The sequel to the hit comedy “Ride Along” is in theaters everywhere this Friday, and has Kevin Hart and Ice Cube returning as future brothers-in-law who unite to stop a drug dealer. For those looking for a few more explosions, Michael Bay’s new action thriller “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” is also new in theaters this weekend. The ensemble cast led by John Krasinski tells a story based on true events; a group of six men on an American security team in Libya are called to action when the U.S. ambassador is killed. And for those leaning toward more family-friendly fare, there’s the animated comedy “Norm of the North,” which has a stellar voice cast led by Rob Schneider. Read more about those movies and this weekend’s other new releases below.
