Chef Greg Anderson has put together a four course menu of American classics like burnt ends, picnic eggs, and signature smoked meats, each with one of Heaven Hill’s concoctions in mind. The drink pairings will range from Bourbon Barrel Aged Buffalo Stout from Tallgrass Brewing Company to W.E.T. original Ron Burgundy Cocktails made with Elijah Craig 12 year Barrel Proof Bourbon. Get ready for: Cornbread Muffins, Picnic Eggs, Burnt Ends paired with flight pours of Tallgrass Brewing Bourbon Barrel Aged Buffalo Sweat Oatmeal Stout and Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon; a Wedge Salad topped with applewood smoked bacon, grape tomato, scallion, blue cheese dressing served with the Larceny Mule; a Smoker Sampler of pork shoulder, yardbird, and hotlinks served with Rittenhouse 100 mini Old Buffalo; and Fried Cherry Pie a la mode and Elijah Craig 12yr Barrel Proof Bourbon in mini Ron Burgundy’s. Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill has paired with Odell Brewing Co. to create a special Beer Dinner on Wednesday, April 6, at 6:30pm. The pub will serve four courses that will be paired with five Odell beers: Charcuterie paired with India Pale Ale; Brick-Oven Baked Soft Pretzel paired with 90 Schilling; Grilled Asparagus, Radicchio & Grapefruit Salad paired with Easy Street; Rosemary Marinated Grilled Sirloin paired with Cutthroat Porter; Raspberry Peach Crisp paired with Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA.
