Monday’s “The Voice” season 10 premiere live stream online and televised presentation arrives as viewers will see a few changes to the show since last season. In particular, Gwen Stefani will no longer be serving as a coach, leaving a spot for a prior coach to return. Don’t fret though, as Stefani will still be featured among mentors this season. Also, a major name within the pop music industry will be a part of the show as an advisor. Fans of the popular singing talent competition show will be able to watch “The Voice” premiere live streaming online and TV coverage thanks to NBC networks on Monday night.
According to a Feb. 9 report via People, Christina Aguilera will make her return as a coach this season, replacing Gwen Stefani in that role. As of the first nine seasons, no female coach’s team or singer has won the competition yet. Aguilera, who was away from the show due to her focus on motherhood and some new career work, has vowed to break that curse saying during a Los Angeles press conference for the show, “We’re going to win it. [I’m] in it to win it this time [and] break the girl curse.” While Aguilera will return as a coach again, it means that Gwen Stefani will move on to take the role of a mentor.
Ironically, Stefani will be a mentor for Team Blake, coached by country singer Blake Shelton. The two were the focus of relationship rumors and talk throughout the previous season, which should make things extra interesting this season. Adam Levine and Pharrell will return as coaches to the show, with Carson Daly as the host. The mentor for Team Levine will be singer Tori Kelly, while Team Pharrell will have rapper and producer, Diddy. Team Christina will bring on R&B pop legend Patti Labelle as the mentor. Perhaps the biggest addition to the show will be Miley Cyrus, who is said to be featured as an advisor during the later rounds of the contest.
For a refresher, season 9 of the hit television show saw Team Adam with coach Adam Levine victorious for his third time. Jordan Smith from Kentucky won the show back in December of 2015, with three of his performance recordings from the show managing to knock Adele’s hit song “Hello” out of the top spot on iTunes Music Store. Who will be the next big singing sensation to emerge from this popular show?
