The three day event that is WonderCon is moving into the Los Angeles Convention Center March 25-27, 2016. The event that has made its home in Anaheim the last few years is looking to expand upon its already incredible programming with this move and to highlight the importance of this event DC Comics is going to give the final revelations of what fans can expect from the DC Comics Rebirth coming in May.
On March 16, 2016, DC Entertainment revealed their entire schedule of programming for the 2016 version of WonderCon which is punctuated by the big announcement of the Rebirth plans Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in Petree Hall C in the West Hall of the convention center. DC’s All-Access co-host Tiffany Smith will be joined by DC Comics Co-Publishers Jim lee and Dan Didio along with Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns to reveal the lineup of writers and artists who will deliver all the great storytelling that will be coming following DC’s Rebirth.
For fans who can’t get out of bed by 9 a.m. on a Saturday or those fans who aren’t close enough to attend DC will be live streaming the panel through the DC Entertainment Youtube page. Be sure to get that website going live to hear all the titanic news.
Over the course of the three-day convention fans are invited to mingle with fellow DC aficionados at the DC Comics Booth #1602 where DC will be hosting a wide variety of contests and giveaways surrounding the DC Comics Rebirth and some small film titled “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that hits theaters on March 25. The booth will be full of DC Collectibles and products from Warner Brothers including a Lego brick Bat Signal and a Superman sculpture soaring above the booth.
The programming may be highlighted by the big Rebirth announcements on Saturday morning, but DC Comics is bringing plenty of great panels to fill the entire weekend to WonderCon beginning Friday afternoon at 1:30 with the DC Entertainment – All Access panel. “New and veteran fans alike are welcome for a tutorial on the essential stories, videos and products that make up DCE in a 101 guide to the DC Universe.”
Didio and Lee along with Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti will be live and in person for the DC Comics – Hanna Barbera panel Friday at 2:30. Get a great look inside the modern reinterpretation of Hanna Barbera’s classic characters in “Scooby Apocalypse,” “The Flintstones,” “Future Quest,” and “Wacky Raceland,” and what’s in store from these books coming from DC.
Following Saturday morning’s Rebirth panel, DC Collectibles head to the center stage at 1 p.m. where everything from action figures to statues and everything in between gets presented for fans to salivate over.

Plus the monumental 50th issues of “Superman,” “Batman” and “Wonder Woman” will be available with exclusive variant covers featuring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot as their super powered alter-egos from the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
