New Year is around the corner and there are literally millions of people around the world who will make a New Year resolution of losing weight. Many of these people would be the same people who took the same oath last year. There should be no doubt that many of these taking oath on this New Year will be preparing to lose weight again next year. The biggest problem with these people who desperately want to lose weight but are not able to is that they are not realizing the biggest factors that matter when losing weight.
You will have to change your lifestyle: If you think weight loss is about doing a particular diet for a month or two or half year, you are badly wrong here. Weight loss is a lifestyle where you have to make certain rules in your life and keep with them forever. Even the people who lose weight by having their fat extracted have to change their lifestyles after the surgeries because not changing means they will be in the same position again. You will have to pluck away all the things from your life that made you fat before and that will make you fat again.
You can’t lose weight without exercising: If you think you can lose weight without moving your body, you are wrong again. How could you think of losing the fat from your body when you are not burning any? It does not matter how little you eat, if you don’t move your body you don’t burn your fats at all. What do you think will happen to a pot that has a tiny 1mm wide hole at its bottom but is being filled with a 1cm hose at a constant rate? In short, you are not getting rid of what is already in your body before you are filling it with more.
You will have to stop eating excessively: No food is bad food unless eaten excessively. In fact, excess of anything in this world is bad. Water is good for your health, but can you drink 10 glasses of it all at once? Exercise is good for your health too but can you keep on exercising for a whole day? They always say that you should not eat that huge 2-storeyed burger with cheese mayonnaise in it because it makes you fat. The truth is that you can eat that burger too if you are eating it once in a while. Furthermore, you should keep an eye on how many calories you are burning each day against their intake.
You will have to fill your house with right things: If you think you are really serious with losing weight, you will have to get rid of the bad stuff from your house. If your refrigerator has always been filled with chocolates and other fattening stuff, throw them out as soon as possible. Make sure you have raw vegetables and fresh fruits available at all times in your house. If you can’t manage time for daily walk or exercise, have a rowing machine, treadmill or an elliptical machine in the house. You can get some cheap ones at around $150.
