Spring makeup collections are already being released, but before you jump into a sea of pastels and peaches, savor the few months of cold-weather beauty that’s still lingering. Today you’ll meet the wallet-friendly eyeshadow palette to trump all drugstore finds, a few great lip shades, the blush to pair with everything in your collection, and a liquid highlighter that beams from outer space. Grab a coffee – there is much to be discussed.
First off, H&M Beauty released its 700+ product line recently, satisfying all color necessities for beauty lovers. Some of the leading must-haves include lipstick in So Cocoa, a rich and creamy deep chocolate brown that serves as an amazing 90’s throwback. Purple Reign, a classic winter berry shade, suits any skin tone (seriously) and wears with dignity for at least 3 ½-4 hours. For a more glamorous look, try Scarlet Fever – it’s the perfect “Old Hollywood” cool-toned red that not only screams gorgeous, but has that wonderful ability to make teeth look pearly white.
Couple any of the aforementioned lippies with Golden Peach Blush. Aptly named, this color is flattering and blends beautifully. It leaves a subtle sheen that awakens the skin. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s housed in pretty hexagon packaging – a little eye candy on your vanity always makes makeup more fun.
Then there is Ready, Set Glow, the eyeshadow palette that will take you far this season without breaking the bank (it’s only $9.99). It comes with 9 shades of varying neutral tones that can easily be transitioned into a night time look. You’re equipped with matte, shimmery, and transitional shades. You definitely want to use a primer underneath for maximum color payoff if that is the look you’re going for. Otherwise, all the shadows build nicely but still remain a bit natural in the final look.
To round out your makeup, mix a pump of Manna Kadar Sheer Glo with your favorite medium coverage foundation. This stunning pink-toned highlighter gives skin luminosity and an overall healthy look. It can be used alone on medium to tan skin but works best on light skin when cocktailed with product. On top of being beautiful, Sheer Glo doesn’t make the skin look oily, so it’s good on all skin types. Also try using it lightly across your collar bones – it instantly takes off 2 pounds!
