AEG Live and Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) are known for producing some of the world’s most well known festivals, and every year the demand continues to grow. The World’s Loudest Month consists of 8 festivals that take place during the month of May. Last year’s series drew over 425,000 fans… and with over 300 bands across the various lineups and extra days added so many of the festivals, this year is already shaping up to be bigger and badder than ever.
Fort Rock will kick off the World’s Loudest Month series alongside Welcome to Rockville over the weekend of April 30th and May 1st. After successfully selling out three years in a row, Fort Rock will be expanding to two days this year.
The lineup will feature Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed and Shinedown as headliners, with a total of over 20 bands. Fort Rock will take place at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, FL, and tickets are on sale now.
Welcome To Rockville
In 2015, Welcome to Rockville expanded their grounds to include four stages over their grounds at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, FL. The four stages will return to host Disturbed, Shinedown, Rob Zombie, ZZ Top and 40+ additional artists.
Welcome to Rockville will kick off the World’s Loudest Month with Fort Rock over the weekend of April 30th and May 1st. Tickets are on sale.
Following in the steps of some of the older festivals in the series, Carolina Rebellion will be expanding to three full days in 2016. The largest rock festival in the Mid-Atlantic sold out to a crowd of 80,000 last year.
Rebellion will feature a slew of classic rock headliners – The Scorpions, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, with a number of today’s mainstream rock and metal bands – Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, plus more. Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be the festival grounds over the long weekend of May 6th to May 8th. Tickets, hotel and camping packages are on sale now.
Northern Invasion kicked off a successful first year in 2015, drawing a sold out crowd of 25,000 fans to Somerset, WI. This year, the festival will expand to two days and will have a third stage and expanded campground.
Somerset Amphitheater will host Northern Invasion over the weekend of May 14th & 15th. Headline performances will feature Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Korn, Shinedown, plus many more.
Kansas City Rockfest
The longest standing festival in the World’s Loudest Month series, Rockfest will be returning for a 24th year on May 14th, 2016, at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO. Rockfest will feature two stages with headline performances from Disturbed and Hellyeah. Tickets and hotel packages are on sale now.
Rock on the Range
The United States’ largest and most well known rock music festival Rock on the Range will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year. The festival sold out in 2015, drawing in 120,000 attendees over three days.
Rock on the Range 2016 will take place over the weekend of May 20th to May 22nd at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH. Rock and metal icons Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch will headline performances over the three days, along with sets from over 50 other bands.

Rocklahoma is back to celebrate it’s 10th anniversary in 2016! The three day festival will occur from May 27th to May 29th at Catch the Fever festival grounds in Pryor, OK.
Though daily lineups have not yet been announced, the festival will feature headline performances from The Scorpions, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch and Rob Zombie across three stages. Regular tickets and camping packages are on sale now.
River City Rockfest
After garnering a crowd of over 25,000 in 2015, River City Rockfest will return for a fourth year at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. The one day festival will take place on Sunday, May 29th, with performances from Disturbed, The Scorpions, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, Hellyeah, Sixx: AM, and many more.
Bonus: Chicago Open Air
Although not technically part of the World’s Loudest Month series, Danny Wimmer Presents announced an all new music, craft beer and gourmet man food festival to take place from July 15th through 17th this year. Chicago Open Air will make it’s debut at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL, featuring a loaded lineup of over 60 bands and headline performances from Rammstein, Disturbed and Slipknot.
