As the holiday festivities wind down with the new year, horror fans can shift their focus towards something else to celebrate. The Texas Frightmare Weekend is fast approaching once again.
Now in its eleventh year, the annual congregation of would be demons, monsters and admirers of cinematic serial killers will happen April 20-May 1 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in D/FW Airport, Texas.
One of the biggest horror conventions in the world, Texas Frightmare has seen thousands of horror fans make the pilgrimage to the Lone Star State in the past to meet and greet some of the horror industry’s greatest icons. The past has seen Tobin Bell from the “Saw” films, Neve Campbell from “Scream,” and the very cool Sid Haig.
This year’s roster is packed to the hilt with talent as well. With Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund leading the pack, and the legendary Catman of KISS Peter Criss bringing up the rear it looks to be a bloody fine shindig in the making.
