Teresa Giudice has told a story of life during her jail term which paints a picture of the United States prison system being as disgustingly brutal and uncivilized as terrorist prisons. People reported on Jan. 30, 2016, Giudice revealed in her tell-all prison memoir that her cell was nicknamed the “boom, boom, boom room” due to all of the sex between inmates in there. She hasn’t held anything back in her memoir “Turning the Tables”.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has given vivid details of her just about year-long time being held in prison. Giudice was known by her fellow inmates as “Hollywood”. In her first strip search Giudice was ordered to disrobe and than squat, stick her tongue out and cough. The 43 year old reality star said she wanted to die from embarrassment. Giudice was released from jail on Dec. 23, 2015.
Fox News reports Giudice complained in her memoir “Turning the Tables — From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again” that she was terrorized with filthy showers, many strip searches, and lesbian love affairs of other women at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut. She said she was stunned by the romances between women in jail but that she didn’t join in. Giudice was held in prison for 11 months after being convicted of financial fraud. Her husband, Joe, begins a 41-month fraud sentence this March.
Although it’s sad to see Giudice and her husband felt pressured to commit financial fraud to survive it’s even more pathetic to realize those in control of the prison system in the United States are barbarians who have prisoners tortured. There is obviously no interest in America’s concentration camp prison system in helping even nonviolent convicts reform and fit back into the mainstream of life after they serve their sentences. Giudice’s shocking story certainly is an eye-opener. Clearly the United States is not actually a very civilized country at all.
