Ted Cruz, who has criticized Donald Trump for not addressing the important issues, has gone over the edge with his stand on North Carolina’s bathroom bill. In the last few days he has bashed Trump, who does not support North Carolina’s law that dictates you use the bathroom for the gender on your birth certificate. Instead of sticking to the prevalent issues at hand Cruz appears to be stuck on the bathroom. As “Fox and Friends Weekend” suggests on Sunday April 24, in a country where 47% of Americans cannot get their hands on $400 for an emergency, there are so many other issues to be addressing today.
According to ABC News on April 23, Cruz’s is coining terms when referring to Trump such as, “crazy Donald” and “phony Donald.” He’s called Trump a “master illusionist like Houdini” and comparing his campaign style to “Mick Jagger parachuting into a rock concert.” Cruz might not realize that Houdini and Jagger’s acts were super popular, so he’s doing Trump a favor!
Trump is a brilliant businessman and in a country where 47% of Americans cannot come up with $400 dollars in a day’s notice, they can sure use some of his know-how. For all of you out there who thought you were alone, you are not! $400 is a lot of money for almost half of the folks who live in the U.S. today. According to Zero Hedge and “Fox and Friends Weekend” live Sunday morning, almost half of the people who live in this country would have to borrow the money or sell something to come up with $400 on a day’s notice.
The Hill reports that Cruz accused Trump of being politically correct in his support of letting people use the bathroom they affiliate with their gender. He is relentless when it comes to this bill even referring to his daughters in a bathroom and not wanting a man to walk in. Enough is enough and it is time to move on Mr. Cruz!
Americans don’t want more of the same and they are looking to Trump for his ability to gather a top of the line crew of experts in their field who will successfully help Trump get this country back on track. So Cruz can go on about the bathroom, but what really brings the folks out to see the top GOP candidate is his business sense and his ability to apply it to one of the biggest businesses in the world, this nation!
Cruz went on a tangent that ended up sounding absolutely ridiculous trying to give a fresh look at why he feels North Carolina’s bathroom bill is a good thing. He painted a picture with words that put Trump dressing up like Hillary Clinton in a pantsuit. ABC News reports that Cruz started off his spiel about the bathroom bill addressing a group in Lebanon, Indiana, by saying:
“So let me make things real simple, even if Donald Trump dresses up as Hillary Clinton, he shouldn’t be using the girl’s restroom.” Getting a kick out of himself, he laughed and then told his followers that he was sorry for giving them an image of “Donald in a bright blue pantsuit.” Cruz took it a bit further by giving a shout out to Jimmy Fallon, “But let me just say to Jimmy Fallon and ‘The Tonight Show,’ please give us that image.” He then attempted to get serious saying:
“If any one of us wants to dress up as a woman or a man wants to live as a woman or man believes that we might be something other than what we were born, you know God has made each of us with free will and the ability to choose to do that. If a man wants to dress as a woman and live as a woman and to have a bathroom at home,” Cruz said. “You don’t have a right to intrude upon the rights of others. Because whether or not a man believes he’s a woman. There are a lot of women who would like to be able to use a public restroom in peace without having a man there and when there are children involved, you don’t have a right to impose your lifestyle on others.”
Many would agree that this is enough and it is time to get on with how you will fix the U.S. instead of having a need to police bathrooms!
