The Syracuse vs. Duke live stream online and TV coverage for the NCAA basketball schedule takes place on Monday night, with the Blue Devils clinging to a spot in the Top 25 after consecutive ACC losses. Most recently, Duke fell to Notre Dame after previously losing against the Clemson Tigers, and the team is desperately in need of the services of injured big man Amile Jefferson. Can Duke turn things around with a win against the visiting Orange on Monday night? The 2016 NCAA live streaming and televised basketball coverage arrives from ESPN for fans to enjoy.
According to USA Today on Jan. 18, Duke fell by a final of 95-91 against Notre Dame just this past Saturday. On Monday night, they host the Orange in a 400th consecutive sellout for Cameron Indoor Stadium. They’ll be up against forward Tyler Roberson who has recorded two double-doubles in his last two games, and four overall this season. Grayson Allen comes in as Duke’s team leader in scoring with 20.2 points a game, but the team has clearly been hurting with senior Amile Jefferson sidelined. Jefferson has been out ever since suffering a fractured right foot during a Dec. 12 practice and has nearly a double-double average with 10.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game so far this season.
Syracuse will want to try to defend the three-point area as best they can, as Duke currently has four players shooting at least 40 percent from behind that arc. They include the team leader, Matt Jones, who has a 42.1 percent three-point shooting stat, as well as 45 makes on the season. Michael Gbinije leads the team in scoring with 17.2 a game, but he’ll hope for better three-point shooting at Cameron tonight. Gbinije has gone 8-for-44 over his last seven games, showing a struggle when it comes to hitting threes. He’ll try to get back on track to help his team hand Duke a third-straight loss in the ACC, which could be a tough task at a rowdy Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Vegas odds makers first listed Duke as 10 point favorites for tonights game, but the line has risen to as much as 11-1/2 in their favor. On the moneyline, the Blue Devils are large favorites at -800 while the visiting Orange are +550 underdogs. Tonight’s points total is just around 144 for the complete game. Duke is listed third at 5Dimes with Michigan State at +800 moneyline odds to win the NCAA Basketball Championship this year.
