After two weeks of hype, the Super Bowl 50 live stream and TV coverage will take center stage as the Panthers and Broncos battle it out to determine the 2016 Super Bowl winner. The story lines for both teams are intriguing, however as we all know, only one team will walk away victorious. The story lines are set, the matchups have been discussed, and the media hype has hit a fever pitch, now it is time to put all that aside and play the game! The Super Bowl 50 live streaming and televised action will be carried by various CBS outlets.
According to a Sportsline report, the Panthers were the best team record wise in 2015, capturing the NFC South crown finishing the regular season at 15-1. One more victory and they will complete the season with one of the best records in NFL history at 18-1, and more importantly, their first NFL championship. The Denver Broncos finished the regular season with a 12-4 mark, capturing their 5th straight AFC West Title and are making their second Super Bowl trip in the last three years. Two years ago the game was a disaster for the Broncos as they got hammered by the Seattle Seahawks 43-8. With this game possibly being Peyton Manning’s last, the last thing Denver wants is a repeat of that!
Denver star Von Miller missed that Super Bowl game vs Seattle due to injury. Miller said he can’t wait to hit the field this afternoon in Santa Clara, as he leads the number one ranked defense up against the number one offense in the NFL. Manning knows he isn’t the same old Peyton who could throw a ball between two defenders on a rope and hit his receiver 60 yards down field, but don’t let that fool you. Manning’s knowledge of the game is incredible, and he will have to make several big plays at key moments if the Broncos are going to beat the offense juggernaut Panthers.
“My role has been different and my contributions are different,” said Manning, who threw two touchdowns against New England and hasn’t been picked off in the postseason. “But I’m fortunate and grateful that I have the opportunity to contribute still, in some way. And it’s a great honor to be going back to the Super Bowl.”
The Broncos have several players who have played in the big game before, while the Panthers are definitely the new kids on the block in terms of championship play. Yet that hasn’t stopped Las Vegas odds sports books making the Carolina Panthers the favorite to win Super Bowl 50. The Panthers are currently listed as a 6 point favorite, with the over/under number set at 45.
NFL fans can catch all of the Super Bowl action on CBS nationally starting at 6:20 p.m. ET. The game will also be available streaming live online though your PC, smart phones and tablets through CBSSports.com. Sirius XM will also carry all of the action live.
