Viewers can watch Sun Bowl 2015 live stream online and televised NCAA game coverage on Saturday featuring Miami (Fl.) vs. Washington State in one of many bowl games on the day’s slate. Both teams come in at 8-4 on the season looking for a perfect way to cap off a winning campaign. While Miami has been a contender for the national title in past years, that fell through for the Hurricanes this year. Washington State also finished with a decent record, but in the middle of the Pac-12 North. The 2015 NCAA live streaming and TV coverage of this bowl game comes via CBS Sports networks.
On Dec. 25, CBS Sports reported that head coach Mike Leach is seeking to bring Washington State to its first bowl victory in 12 years on Sunday. Leach was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year after resurrecting a Cougars team that was 3-9 in 2014 to become a much better team this past season. Among their highlight games this season were a 45-38 win over Oregon, a 31-27 win over then-No. 19 UCLA and a close loss to former No. 8 Stanford, 30-28. Washington State is led by dynamic quarterback Luke Falk, who led the nation with 387.8 yards per game and 53.7 attempts. Falk also ranked second nationally with a 70.7 completion percentage.
The Hurricanes’ sophomore quarterback Brad Kaaya is no slouch on the field either as he also ranks among the top 25 passers in college football. Kaaya racked up 3,019 yards per game along with 15 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season. In addition to the fact that both teams have impressive quarterbacks will be the fact these teams are each capable of putting up 30 or more points. With that said, don’t be surprised if this one eclipses the points total set at various sports books, making for one of the most likely offensively-pleasing bowl games on the Saturday schedule.
Vegas odds makers first listed the Cougars as 1-1/2 point favorites to win this bowl game on Saturday, but the spread has since risen to as high as three points in their favor. On the moneyline, Washington State is a -135 favorite, with Miami (Fl) a +125 underdog. The over/under points total is set around 62 for the complete game. Of note, the Cougars are an impressive 9-3-0 against the spread this past season, while Miami is 7-5-0 overall and 4-2-0 as the underdog team.
