On Feb. 15, byteclay.com was on the scene for designer Jeremy Scott’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection titled “Cowboys and Poodles.” The presentation was held at Skylight at Moynihan Station and was one of the hottest shows of fashion week. Perez Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Coco Rocha, Skyler Samuels, Charli XCX, AnnaSophia Robb, J. Alexander, CL of 2NE1 fame, Brazilian actress Julia Faria, Terry Richardson, Jourdan Dunn (who was serving as an E! “Fashion Police” correspondent), Leigh Lezark, Gigi Gorgeous, Justine Skye and Mia Moretti, were a few of the notables spotted in the front row. Supermodel Karlie Kloss walked in the show.

“I’m a long time supporter and long time friend of Jeremy’s. We’re DJ-ing his after party tonight. I just love the way he has so much fun with fashion. He’s so engrossed in pop culture and it’s just really a refreshing thing to see,” Lezark shared. The Beckerman twins rocked a dramatic look. “Today we’re construction workers and it’s all about neon colors and I guess we’re little worker bees I mean obviously for Jeremy. He has the biggest heart, he’s one of the best designers in the world, he’s one of our best friends, he has the best energy and we just love him and love all his clothes,” they exclaimed.

Coco Rocha wore Moschino by Jeremy Scott. “I am very excited for today. I think that every time it’s just a unique experience and you never know what it’s going to be and I’m always pleasantly surprised and excited.” Actress AnnaSophia Robb said she was having a calm fashion week. She has been studying at NYU and loves it. “It’s a show. That’s what fashion is all about. It’s just fun watching the clothes move around and seeing everybody and all the flashing lights and it’s a circus for sure.”

“One thing I love about Jeremy is he’s very talented, he pushes the envelope and the buttons and the personalities and the characters and creates wonderful fun things that young girls love to wear,” J. Alexander said. “Scream Queens” star Skyler Samuels was excited to be attending her first Jeremy Scott show. She is obsessed with him. She said shooting the first season of “Scream Queens” was “outrageous and fabulous and absolutely amazing different every day, it was so much fun.” She said creator Ryan Murphy, “Keeps you on the edge of your seat, even when you’re an actor on his show, it’s so much fun working with him.” So what can fans expect from season two? “Honestly, who knows! He set the bar high season one, he’ll break the ceiling season two I can’t wait.” Singer Charli XCX attended the show with her stylist Lisa Katnic. She attended several shows at NYFW, but Scott’s presentation was her last before heading to London for the NME Awards and London Fashion Week. She also performed at the amfAR Gala, which was presented by Fiji Water.

Singer CL is a huge fan of Jeremy’s designs. “I’ll always be here and of course I loved the show. It’s so much fun, a lot of things I want to wear.” Up next she said, “I’m working on my album and it’s going to be amazing.” MAC Cosmetics lead Kabuki did the make up for the show and Miss Pop for OPI designed the nail look. She started by applying OPI Natural Nail Base Coat. Then she applied two layers of OPI Shorts Story, OPI I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana, OPI A Good Mandarin is Hard To Find, OPI Infinite Shine To Infinity & Blue-yond, and OPI Infinite Shine The Sun Never Sets. Once the lacquer was dry, she applied a layer of OPI Kyoto Pearl. After the polish was set, they sealed the look with OPI Top Coat. Eugene Souleiman for Wella did the hair.

The presentation also featured an exclusive design in collaboration with Brazilian plastic shoe brand, Melissa Shoes. Jeremy, together with Melissa, created the knee-high, stiletto cowboy boot specifically for the runway, continuing his thematically-clever appropriation of pop culture. Later in the evening Flash Factory played host to the official after party for Jeremy Scott’s presentation. Guests including Sam Beckerman, Cailli Beckerman, Ashley Smith, Ellen Von Unwerth, Cindy Bruna, CL, amongst others, celebrated Jeremy Scott’s successful runway show by sipping cocktails and dancing to the music stylings of Mia Moretti, DJ Sita, DJ Mazurbate and the Misshapes (DJs Leigh Lezark, Geordon Nicol, and Greg Krelenstein.)

Other notables who joined Jeremy at the bash included Adam Selman, Brandi Cyrus, Bradley Theodore, Caroline Vreeland, Charlie Himmelstein, Gigi Gorgeous, Jaden Smith, Leslie Kirchhoff, Nati Saal, Sarah Snyder, Tini Goobar, Vera Lesavoy and Victoria Brito, among others.
