Thursday was warm, but windy as well! After a morning low of 50 at Philly Airport the high reached 73 in the afternoon(average high is 58); clouds rolled in by the afternoon as well ahead of a cold front and a few showers will push through overnight. Lows will be in the middle and upper 50s with even some patchy fog possible.
Friday will be overcast with scattered showers and even some strong thunderstorms in the afternoon along the cold front itself; highs will be in the middle 70s so it will feel humid as well. Behind the front…..well, it actually stalls to our south Saturday providing showers throughout the day. Highs are still above average into the lower 60s! The front finally clears the region Sunday morning, but not before some snow showers to the north and west; highs are just in the upper 40s Sunday afternoon.
Monday will provide a brief warmup with highs in the upper 60s, but then another system clips us overnight into Tuesday with colder air and even some wet snowflakes possible to the north and west Tuesday morning; behind it we’re just in the lower to middle 40s for the middle of the week! Yuck!
