A high school in Virginia recently showed a divisive racial indoctrination video to its students. As reported by Fox News on Tuesday, outraged parents are now demanding answers from Glen Allen High School in Henrico after officials there pushed an extremely politicized propaganda video on its students portraying minorities as endless victims of “white privilege.”
The video is titled, “The Unequal Opportunity Race.” It uses cartoon images of runners participating in a relay race to show how white people benefit from cheating and stealing everything from non-whites. It naturally concludes that the only solution is to impose more of the left’s racist preferential treatment for minorities (affirmative action).
It begins by showing a relay race in which the white runners both take off at the beginning, but all the minorities are forced to wait for a light that is still red. Terms used to paint minorities as victims shoot out of the red lights that are holding them back, including, “slavery,” “broken treaties,” and “genocide.”
How exactly practices such as slavery—which happened hundreds of years ago to unknown strangers—are currently managing to hold anyone back is unclear (especially since it is only white people who are denied jobs and educational opportunities in favor of those less qualified than them, simply because of their race). Apparently, the thousands of years of white European enslavement at the hands of Arab and African powers doesn’t count as “being held back.”
As the white runners continue to lap the helpless minority victims in this relay race, they pass an increasingly large baton to one another that is marked with an increasingly large dollar sign, implying that white people gain all their fabulous wealth and riches by exploiting and cheating others (it is necessary to incessantly smear America as this bigoted, unfair place if you are going to justify forcing through blatant discrimination against white people). Never mind the fact that the vast majority of poor people in this country are white (blacks only make up about fourteen percent of the population).
When the minority runners are finally allowed to take off, numerous unfair obstacles are also immediately thrown in their way, bearing labels such as:
-“Discrimination” (like the Academy Awards being ‘too white’—paranoid bigotry and delusional conspiracy theories),
-“Poor schooling” (what happens when Democrats lower standards for one special class of ‘victims’ to make everything ‘equal’—also, conservatives fight for school choice, while Democrats characteristically fight to keep minorities trapped in failing government schools run by unions),
-“Underemployment” (the direct result of Democrat policies, which give minority jobs to illegal immigrants and make it more difficult for companies to create decent jobs—tax hikes, over-regulation, labor unions, frivolous lawsuits, etc.),
-“Standardized tests” (conservatives fight for localized and parental control of schools, while Democrats and liberal Republicans illegally nationalize all the power over education into the hands of the few in Washington to ‘help’ minorities by forcing schools to verify that they can read, write, and do basic math),
-“School to prison pipeline” (white people somehow force minorities to commit crimes? You cannot break the law and then blame others for ‘holding you back’),
-“Housing segregation” (who, exactly, is stopping minorities from living in whatever neighborhoods they choose?),
-“Racial profiling” (a relentless attempt to change the subject from the crimes minorities are caught committing to the paranoid assumption that blacks are only caught committing their crimes because the police are targeting and persecuting them—despite the facts consistently showing the opposite),
-“Shortened lifespan” (personal lifestyle choices have consequences—minority lifespan statistics also include Democrat-run war zones like Chicago, where everyone has been disarmed except criminals),
The white runners are then shown gloriously arriving at the finish line as terms like, “connections,” “privilege,” and “wealth” scroll by to glamorous music, and as the innocent minority victims cry in despair on the sidelines over their rigged defeat. The video then calls for more “affirmative action” (discrimination against white people) to “level the playing field.”
This is a deliberate, in-your-face attempt to strong-arm an unwilling public into accepting Marxist class warfare, redistribution of wealth, and white guilt. It is about brainwashing school children into blaming white people for everything and believing that minorities are perpetually owed other people’s stuff. As with everything liberals do, it is also about Democrat power, and stacking the deck for maximum nanny state dependence, entitled grievance-mongering, and cradle-to-grave handouts at everyone else’s expense.
This video intentionally confuses the concepts of equal opportunity (an actual universal right) and the forced equality of result (an imaginary right invented by liberals to violate the actual rights of others). It is about inoculating future voters against actual equality (everyone being held to the same standard), and is just one of many overtly racist attacks on our educational system since “the post-racial president” took office.
As with Beyonce derailing the Superbowl to hold the black equivalent of a Klan rally at the halftime show (celebrating the Black Panther Party’s anniversary by dressing like them, doing the ‘black power’ salute, forming an ‘X’ to celebrate Malcolm X, etc.), this is about power-tripping racists bullying and forcing their fringe extremism on others while simultaneously playing the victim.
