Two bonded senior friends lost the only home they ever knew after their owner dumped them for her fiancee – and now they desperately need a holiday angel to find a home together. Best friends Gypsy Hope and Charm came to Purrfect Pals in Arlington, Washington just in time for the holidays, but they hope that with your help, they can find a loving new family for the new year.
Gypsy is a fluffy, perfectly imperfect one-eyed tabby. While it’s not known how she lost her eye, that’s the least of this little gal’s worries: her abandonment has left her scared, confused, and so very, very sad. This sweet, loving little girl is heartbroken, and her only consolation is her best friend, Charm, who shares her sadness over the breakup of her family.
According to Purrfect Pals Cat Rescue, Charm is a “delightfully petite pocket panther.” She has a glossy black coat, a white charm on her throat, and serene green eyes that always seem to be searching. Perhaps they’re looking for someone who will love her – and her best friend – for the rest of their lives. Charm is a social, affectionate lap kitty who loves to snuggle, spend time with Gypsy, and get scratches behind her ears.
Sadly, Charm’s former owner didn’t believe in providing routine medical care for her cats, and Charm wasn’t spayed until she was 15. When Charm and Gypsy arrived at Purrfect Pals, Charm had to receive significant dental care, but now, other than slightly elevated kidney values, Charm is healthy and ready to find a loving home.
So why did these gorgeous girls get dumped, just when they needed a person the most, and right before the holidays? Because their previous owner’s new fiancee was allergic to cats. Instead of becoming angry about this, though, let’s channel this anger into finding new homes for this pair. Together, we can help them find a true forever home. And if you aren’t looking to add to your family at this time, please share their story to help them find a loving home!
Charm and Gypsy are waiting to meet you at the Issaquah Petco, located at 975 NW Gilman Blvd. Play Times are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon, and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (adoptions are 5:30 to 7:30) Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (adoptions are the same hours). And during the month of December, these girls qualify for Purrfect Pals’ “Adopt a Vintage Cat” special – their adoption fees are 50% off!
Let’s make this holiday season one of great joy and happiness for these lovely, sweet vintage kitties. They desperately need an angel. Is it you?
