UPDATE: The times for each performance were posted on Marching.com and have been updated below.
Bandfest showcases the marching bands that appear in the 127th Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan. 1, 2016. Bandfest consists of three shows over two days, Tuesday, Dec. 29 and Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. The performance schedule is below. Tickets are available for $15 per show from the Sharp Seating website, over the phone at (626) 795-4171, or at the venue if they are not sold out. Children under age 5 are free. Shows are on Robinson Field at Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., and there’s plenty of free parking in Parking Structure 4 off Del Mar Ave.
Each performance features different bands, except the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band, which plays at all three. It’s suggested that you wear sunblock and bring water, as the stadium does not have much shade. It can get quite sunny and warm during the day and cool as it gets into evening.
Each visitor is given a souvenir drum pad and stick to accompany the giant Remo drums that provide preshow entertainment. Food trucks will be parked around the facility, and there are several restaurants and fast food places on the north side of Colorado Blvd. across from the college. There are also eateries in the surrounding area within walking distance.
Note that specific times that bands will appear have not been posted by the Tournament. The times listed below were posted on Marching.com.
