On May 3, 2016, the new epic adventure novel ‘The Immortal Crown: Book one of Saga of Kings’ from Shadow Mountain Publishing hits the shelves at most of your favorite bookstores. Don’t be intimidated by its robust 530+ pages, this daunting story from author Kieth Merrill starts off with a quest of mythological proportions and never slows down.
The story engulfs a large cast of characters painted in a magical world where a collection of stones once touched by the God of Gods Oum’ilah possess certain powers. Now scattered, whoever can unite these stones back together will be granted immortality.
Each chapter of this unique adventure is told from different characters, giving readers distinctly varying points of views with just as varying intentions.
“Now, in an age of chaos, the time has come for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Light and darkness have each chosen a champion to claim the legendary stones:
The sorceress of the cult of shedragon has chosen Drakkor, a warrior and mercenary who travels with bandits and a corrupt stone of darkness.
The Oracle of Oum’ilah has placed his faith in Ashar, a young postulant who is unsure the stones of light even exist.
Meanwhile, miles away, a slave name Ereon Qhuin dreams of freedom. Abandoned at birth, his only possession is a strange stone that his mentor, the blacksmith Rusthammer, promises is the key to Qhuin’s destiny and freedom.
A mercenary, a postulant, and a slave—which one is truly the child of prophecy? Who will wear the immortal crown?”
