Let’s be honest: bread is one of the greatest little pleasures in life. From the taste to the versatility, you can’t help but love it. With that said, let’s talk about the Extra Grainy varieties of bread by Arnold that are going to bring on the goodness for your next sandwich.
There were three types of bread up for review — the 17 Grains & Seeds, Flax & Sesame Seed, and Cracked Wheat and Oats — and they definitely didn’t disappoint. Each had a fabulous fresh taste, and while some breads make you feel like you want to take a nap after, these weren’t like that. After eating them, there was no desperate need for a snooze but rather a continuous energy boost that lasted throughout the afternoon. They were also filling so there wasn’t even any snacking between lunch and dinner. Not bad at all Arnold Extra Grainy Bread!
One of the other great aspects of the 17 Grains & Seeds, Flax & Sesame Seed, and Cracked Wheat and Oats breads is that you can see and feel all the goodness of the ingredients right in the bread itself rather than just having them sitting on the crust with plain bread in the middle. They created a wonderful texture in the bread, yet despite their obvious presence, the seeds etc didn’t change the consistency so much that the bread was difficult to eat. Consider them an enhancement rather than a nuisance.
As you can see from the pictures, there was also plenty of things to do with the 17 Grains & Seeds, Flax & Sesame Seed, and Cracked Wheat and Oats breads rather than just smothering some butter on top (although that was delicious as well). They’re versatile with flavors that don’t interfere with the ingredients on top.
Personally, the 17 Grains & Seeds, Flax & Sesame Seed, and Cracked Wheat and Oats breads are fabulous and certainly worth buying and keeping at home. They’ve already been replaced in this house. Should you want to check them out for yourself, they’re available in your local grocery store. You can also peruse the other varieties of Arnold breads here.
