Registration for the 2016 National Capital Golf Tour membership drive has been teed up for players of all ability levels. Memberships are to be paid before April 30 and the fees are $60 for returning members and $75 for new members.
In addition to the tour’s traditional schedule, players can enter The President’s Cup Challenge. One hole will be selected in advance at each course during the first nine events and those scores will be used for the player’s nine-hole total score. The NCGT will use handicapped scoring to make it fair for all. If a player takes an X on any of those holes they will be eliminated. Everyone must play in all nine events to be eligible to win and there are no extra fees involved.
The NCGT Tour will once again host the Match Play Season Long Event. The tour needs 16 players to register before the first event on May 7 at Cloverdale Links in order for this competition to happen. The tour will collect the fees at a later date, but is taking entries now.
