While moviegoers await the release of “Batman v.Superman: Dawn of Justice”, Warner Bros and DC Comics look ahead to their massive two part blockbuster: “Justice League”. The film based on the iconic team will be hitting the silver screen next year in “Justice League: Part One” and directing the film is none other than the man behind “Man of Steel” and “Batman v.Superman”- Zack Snyder. If there was any doubt about this film not becoming a reality then it seems that those speculations will be quickly put to rest. It is now been announced that Justice League will be begin production this spring; April 11th to be exact. This was made official yesterday when Zack Snyder sat down with Entertainment Weekly, and it feels “about time” according to the director.
The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing, It was a little bit of an ‘about time’ moment, and I don’t blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it’s a long time coming, but I do feel like it’s a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, ‘Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.’ But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist.
News on this film did not stop with the interview. Later in the day, Zack Snyder revealed behind the scene content on the Superhero Epic. In the photo Snyder is accompanied by Jason Mamoa (Aquaman) and the two have a friendly pic at the Leavesden Studio; all the while standing in front of some particular items. These items just so happen to be some of the costumes for the film. One of the notable costumes is of course Aquaman’s outfit, but perhaps what will get many viewers’ attention is the red attire in the back. This is outfit is none other the costume for The Flash; whom will be played by Ezra Miller. These two outfits are not the only accounted for as the image also shows a full black costume. Many speculate that this attire is for Batman’s former sidekick, Dick Grayson aka Nightwing, but this information remains scarce. Along with the costumes is a portrait that reveals Aquaman’s wife: Mera (Amber Heard); though this image can be hard to see.
This new information is riddled with exciting content; from the mysterious black costume to glimpsing The Flash’s cinematic attire. However, when it comes down to it this, these details makes one thing clear: Justice League is coming! The only thing moviegoers can do now is wait to see what is in store for this massive Superhero Blockbuster when “Justice League: Part One” hits theaters on November 10, 2017.
