Did the private and sometimes mysterious Prince have a premonition of his death? Prince is dead and there’s just so many ways you can say that today, but the tragic news has people searching for more… why is Prince dead today?
Prince, 57, was found unresponsive in an elevator at his home and attempts to revive him, were to no avail. Today folks are discussing Prince making an emergency landing in his private plane on Friday night because he was not feeling well. This incident seems to be the start of this mystery surrounding his death.
He was said to have the flu, but the night following that emergency landing he threw a party at his Paisley Park compound for his fans. Fans had to pay a $10 cover charge to attend the party, reports The Independent on April 21.
Prince said this party was to assure his fans he was fine and that he wanted to thank them for caring and for their support. He also said he wanted to celebrate the beautiful weather, which is another reason he opted to throw this party.
The singer didn’t perform at this party, but he made a speech. It was what he said in that speech that have people pondering if he had some kind of premonition that he was going to die soon. The Independent reports that “Prince’s final words to his fans were, “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers.” He said this in response to the people who were praying for him after that emergency landing and his flu scare.
While this could have been something he said off the cuff without putting much thought into it, you have to admit “wait a few days before you waste any prayers,” is a strange thing to say. It Sounds like he was saying he is fine for the moment, but in a few days the prayers will be called for.
Hollywood Life is asking the same question today: “Did Prince know that the end was near?” He was writing his memoir and he was only about 50 pages into it when he was found dead. Hollywood Life reports that “Now, many are wondering if this meant he knew that he would be passing away soon.”
Fox News live today is reporting that Prince visited his neighborhood pharmacy at 7 p.m. last night. He had visited the pharmacy four times within the last week. When he stopped at the pharmacy on Wednesday night, he was alone. Fox News live reports he looked “thin” and he looked “nervous.” It is not clear who called 911 from Prince’s home, it may have even been the singer himself who called before collapsing in the elevator. Not many details have been released.
