The Panthers vs. Saints live stream online and TV game will feature the only remaining unbeaten team in the 2015-16 NFL season. Carolina is currently sitting as the top team in the NFC with an unblemished record of 11-0. They’ll be on the road against a 4-7 New Orleans Saints team, which still has a small bit of potential to get a wild card spot should other teams falter. Will Cam Newton and the Panthers continue their pursuit of perfection and hit 12-0, or will Drew Brees and the Saints spoil their party? Sunday’s 2015 NFL live streaming and televised coverage will arrive via Fox Sports networks and other sources.
The USA Today site reported on Dec. 6 that a win today will give them their 16th straight, dating back to last year’s blowout win 41-10 over the New Orleans Saints. A victory today also will clinch the NFC South title for the team and put them just four wins away from a perfect season at 16-0. Carolina will once again look to their dynamic quarterback Cam Newton who has racked up 2,466 yards passing and 20 touchdowns, along with 427 yards on the ground and seven rushing scores. The Panthers’ defense is also nothing to sneeze at, as they’re currently fifth in passing defense and second in rushing defense. The two teams met back in Week 3 with Carolina edging New Orleans 27-22.
The Saints enter the game being held to fewer than seven points for the first time since 2005 in their game last weekend against the Houston Texans, ultimately losing 24-6 on the road. Drew Brees had just 228 total yards passing for the game along with throwing an interception and being sacked twice. The key to their success today will be whether their second-best passing offense in the league can get things going against a tough pass defense from Carolina. On the season, Brees ranks fifth in overall yards passing with 3,200, No. 10 in terms of touchdowns thrown with 20, and No. 9 for passer rating at 97.1 heading into Sunday’s game. The New Orleans defense will need to force key turnovers from a top notch team while also allowing Brees room to work, or this could be another blowout like last December’s.
Vegas odds makers first opened the line at a touchdown in favor of the visiting Panthers, but that point spread has since dropped a full point at some books. On the moneyline, Carolina is a -250 favorite, while the New Orleans Saints are +230 home underdogs. The point total for this NFC matchup will be 50 points for the complete game for over/under bettors. In terms of odds for this undefeated Panthers squad to win it all this season, they are currently tied with Arizona for second on that list with 11 to 2 odds, trailing only the New England Patriots (3 to 1).
