It’s no secret that New Jersey industrial outfit Panic Lift have been very quiet since their 2014 tour supporting Aesthetic Perfection. Yesterday, the outfit decided to surprise fans with a brand new song.
The track is called “Paper Mask”, and it feels like a combination of their previous two studio albums (2008’s Witness To Our Collapse and 2012’s Is This Goodbye). You can pre-order their upcoming EP here. Aside from the new song, the release will feature remixes from Modulate, Ludovico Technique, and Mechanical Vein. The EP will be released on May 20 via Metropolis. Panic Lift’s new studio album will be released this summer.
On June 4, the band will perform at the Brighton Music Hall for their monthly Corrosion Boston event, which will be the record release show for the upcoming Electronic Saviors IV. Released through Metropolis Records, this compilation, which was created by Rein[Forced] frontman and cancer survivor Jim Semonik, will help raise money towards cancer research. Some of the bands featured on the upcoming release include KMFDM, Suicide Commando, and Dope Stars Inc. You can pre-order the album here. Label mates NØIR will also perform at the record release show. Brighton Music Hall is located on 158 Brighton Ave in Boston, Massachusetts.
