On February 29, 2016, over fifty Walla Walla Valley wineries will be pouring their wares at Pure Space in Portland, Oregon. From 5:30pm to 8:00pm, wine lovers can intermingle with winemakers as they sample the current and new releases. Also, light appetizers will be served.
The name Walla Walla means “many waters,” and in this valley one sees it the aquifers and rivers that produce a green oasis amidst the surrounding deserts. Duane Wollmuth, Executive Director of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance, stated the value of this event in a press release, “This is a rare chance for wine lovers to sample wines from so many acclaimed Walla Walla Valley wineries all under one roof. It’s also a real opportunity for our winemakers to connect face-to-face with their customers from the greater Portland area.”
Tickets to this 21+ event are $60.00 and can be purchased by clicking here. Pure Space is part of Classic Wines Auction, and a portion of ticket sales will be donated to its benefitting charities.
