The 2015 NFL regular season is winding down as we hit Week 15. Here is a list of the betting odds and lines plus all the over/unders for every game this week in Week 15 of the 2015 NFL season. There is a Saturday night NFL game this week.
As the season winds down one thing NFL bettors should keep in mind is that historically players do not care about home field advantage in the playoffs. So betting teams you think will play hard to secure home field advantage in the playoffs is usually not a wise strategy.
Good luck to all the players and teams this week and especially the bettors in Week 15 of the NFL season!
- Buccaneers +1 at Rams (O/U is 41)
This is a desperation must win game for both of these teams. The Rams come in off a win over the Lions and the Bucs come in off a loss to the Saints. Despite last week’s win, Case Keenum is 3-9 as a NFL starting QB. If Tampa stacks the box and forces Case Keenum to try and beat them they should win this game.
- New York Jets -3 at Cowboys (O/U is 42)
This game should be trouble for the Jets on the road in Dallas but can the Cowboys win with Matt Cassel at quarterback? Ryan Fitzpatrick is 8-5 this season with the Jets but his career record in the NFL is just 41-60-1. If Fitzpatrick can win one more game this season it will be the first time in his career he’s guided a team to a winning record over a season.
- Panthers -5 at New York Giants (O/U is 48.5)
Can the New York Giants knock off another undefeated team this late in a NFL season? The Giants dealt the Patriots their only loss in the 2007 season in the Super Bowl a few years ago. If Eli Manning can avoid turning the ball over in this game the Giants can win.
- Titans +14 at Patriots (O/U is 47)
The Patriots had no trouble beating the Texans last week and the Texans are a better team than the Titans. The 14 point spread is the question this week. The big worry for the Pats is Marcus Mariota running with the ball which is the only thing keeping the spread in question.
- Buffalo -1 at Redskins (O/U is 44)
Rex Ryan said the Bills were the better team last week even though they lost to the Eagles. He used to say that all the time with the Jets too. It’s hard to bet on a coach like that but the Bills should beat the Redskins this week.
- Chiefs -7.5 at Ravens (O/U is 42)
The Ravens have no real QB right now so it’s really hard to see them doing much this week vs a hot Chiefs team. Jimmy Clausen started for the Ravens last week and his record as a NFL QB is now 1-12. The Ravens signed Ryan Mallett after the game.
- Texans even at Colts (O/U is N/A)
The Colts got crushed by the Jaguars last week and the Texans got crushed by the Patriots. Both teams are 6-7 but they are still tied atop the AFC South. One of the teams has to win this week but which one? Brian Hoyer is doubtful for the game so T.J. Yates will likely start for the Texans and he’s 3-3 lifetime as a starter in the NFL. Yates did lead the Texans to a playoff win in 2011.
- Bears +5.5 at Vikings (O/U is 43)
The Vikings already beat the Bears earlier this season by a score of 23-20 on the road and now they are favored to beat them again by 5.5 points at home. Teddy Bridgewater is 8-5 this season and 14-11 lifetime as a NFL starting QB. Jay Cutler is 66-65.
- Falcons +3 at Jaguars (O/U is 49)
Matt Ryan is now 72-51 lifetime as a starting QB in the NFL but he’s just 16-29 over the last three seasons. Has Matty Ice officially melted? Blake Bortles is 8-18 lifetime in the NFL but’s actually improved to 5-8 this season.
- Browns +14.5 at Seattle (O/U is 43)
Johnny Manziel can’t get any respect. He led the Browns to a 24-10 win over the 49ers but now he’s a 14.5 point underdog to beat the Seahawks this week. The win raised Manziel’s career record to 2-4 as a NFL starter. If you believe in him give him a chance this week otherwise take Seattle.
- Packers -3 at Raiders (O/U is 46.5)
The Raiders got a big win over the Broncos last week to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Can they beat the Packers this week at home? Aaron Rodgers played in college for Cal so he’s won’t mind playing in Oakland this week.
- Broncos +6 at Steelers (O/U is 44)
Brock Osweiler is now 3-1 as a NFL starter after the Broncos lost to the Raiders last week. The Steelers looked good beating the Bengals who lost Andy Dalton to a thumb injury. Ben Roethlisberger is now 111-55 as a starter in the NFL.
- Bengals -4.5 at 49ers (O/U is 40.5)
A.J. McCarron is likely to start this week for the Bengals with Andy Dalton’s thumb injury. McCarron has never started a NFL game and he’ll be trying to be the first Alabama QB to win a NFL game since 1987 (Jeff Rutledge for Giants). He’s got a good chance to win because Blaine Gabbert for the 49ers has a career record of 7-25 as a starting NFL QB. Even if he loses, McCarron has a hot wife.
- Dolphins even at Chargers (O/U is 45.5)
Ryan Tannehill is 28-33 as a NFL quarterback while Philip Rivers is 91-66. Rivers is just 3-10 this season, though. If he has time to throw the ball this week the Chargers will win but if he doesn’t the Dolphins will win.
- Arizona -3.5 at Eagles (O/U is 50.5)
Two weeks ago everybody wrote Chip Kelly off as a NFL head coach but then the Eagles beat the Patriots and the Bills and are now tied atop the NFC East with the Giants and Redskins. Carson Palmer is now 27-8 as the Cardinals starting QB. Sam Bradford is 6-5 for the Eagles but just 24-35-1 lifetime in the NFL.
- Lions -3 at Saints (O/U is 50.5)
What a dud of a Monday Night Football game. The Lions are officially out of the playoffs and the Saints are basically too. Matthew Stafford is 39-51 as a NFL starting QB while Drew Brees is 122-91.
