Electronic Arts and DICE have sent out a press release in regards to the future of the Battlefield franchise. On May 6th at 1 PM PT, you can witness live the world premiere of the new Battlefield game. You will get insight into the minds of the developers as Creative Director Lars Gustavsson and Lead Producer Aleksander Grondal will dive into the past, present, and future of Battlefield. You can also join in on the conversation as the floor will be open for questions. The last game, Battlefield Hardline, was not as much as a success as the previous two games.
With the press release using the focal word “future”, the game could be set up similar to the space in time that Call of Duty games recently have. EA has already done a super-futuristic Battlefield game with Battlefield 2142. This was release about ten years ago, and it did not really catch on and did not get a console release. New news on a Battlefield game can only mean good things. A recent survey showed more people were still playing Battlefield 4 than the recently released Star Wars game. Stay tuned for more information involving the new Battlefield.
