Folks across the Internet have been called upon to play amateur detective when it comes to identify the couple in a mystery picture found buried behind a wall. When a family started on home renovations, a wall came down and revealed this picture next to a green bottle of Charlotte perfume, in what almost looks like a love-shrine hidden behind that wall for many years.
Yahoo News on February 28, reports that this mystery has sparked the Internet’s interest. A woman in Queensland, Australia, came across this mysterious shrine-like set-up sealed up behind a wall in the home she is doing some demolition work on. Vesna Bogdan is just curious as to who these people in the photo are and what their story might be after finding the picture hidden away. You can check out the picture in the Yahoo link that starts this paragraph.
It seems like some folks believe they know who they are, like a guy named Craig, who swears that’s him in the photo from years ago. That’s all well and fine, but he has no idea who the girl is and he has no idea how it got behind the wall in a house that he’s never been to. He swears it’s him, as does his family and friends.
Then a woman named Jacque knows that it is her in the picture, but has no idea who the guy is or how she ended up in a picture behind the wall of a house she’s never heard of before. Although she said the house could be one that her friend Nathan lived in years ago, but she’s not sure and Nathan is unfortunately dead, so there is no way to verify this.
Another woman named Helen tagged herself as the woman in the photo, but she doesn’t remember the guy who she says was just a friend. She is just as confused as everyone else when it comes to the perfume bottle and the shrine-like place behind the wall where the picture has been hidden all these years. She also has no links to the house at all.
Since the owner of the house has verified the guy in the picture is not Craig and not a soul that has contacted her can identify the house, she’s back to square one. So once again, does anyone know who this couple in the picture is? On the inside of the wall the letters “M” an “B” were written and a little bit away from the letters, the name “Monica” was also found in writing on the inside of the wall.
So now it looks as if the woman’s name may be Monica, but that hasn’t helped much and now there’s the “B” to also go with as a clue! It looks as if this couple’s picture and the shrine was not meant to be seen!
According to the Granite Transformation website, you wouldn’t believe the things people find in walls when renovating their homes. In an archived article they list several things you’d like to find that others have come across and a few you wouldn’t want to discover, like old human bones. An elderly couple renovating their home in Florida found a live, 20-inch Korean War missile, which wasn’t a good find.
An eerie discovery was made by workers when they found human bones buried in the walls of Harvard’s Holden Chapel while working on renovations, yet another find that wasn’t so good. Then there are those who have found tons of money stuffed in the walls, like $40K in cash along with some guns in St. Paul. Even better yet, the money and the guns dated back to the Chicago gangster days of the ’20s and ’30s.
