When I first was outreached by Phytoceane to try out their mattifying corrective bi-gel, I was skeptical. I just can’t add another product into my routine, and what exactly will mattifying do for me, is it really that important?
What is it?
Designed to be used as an all-over moisturizer or spot treatment, this multi-purifying formula works to prevent blemishes, reduce shine and minimize pores. Its creamy bi-gel consistency delivers a burst of floral-scented freshness the moment you put it on and goes right to work, absorbing excess oils and knocking out surface shine for an instant matte finish.
Why would I use this?
As a New Englander, I cherish the very few moments that I am in humid sunny weather, but this product is perfect to combat the greasy feeling that can occur for anyone with oily skin or when weather gets a little too hot!
How to use?
I find that the best way to fit the Phytoceane Matifying Corrective Bi-Gel ($50 for 50 ml) into your routine, is on occasion only when you need it. It is a nice creamy texture and will fall into step seamlessly if you use it with a moisturizer or in place of your daily moisturizer. I also tend to use it when I think that my pores (especially by my nose) are feeling a little enlarged. Its a good way to tame those pores, and keep you looking young and fabulous all day.
But it doesn’t stop there – the bi-gel unlocks clogged pores and limits oil production within the skin, too, meaning smoother skin and fewer blemishes in your future. And it does it all without drying the skin: marine ingredients restore moisture and minerals for comfortable all-day wear, so skin looks and feels its best.
Why believe me?
Don’t believe me, believe the results in a clinical test of 21 women, after 28 days of twice daily use, 9 out of 10 women saw less shiny skin, 8 out of 10 women said their blemishes appeared less visable, 9 out of 10 women had tighter pores, and the moisture of the product was felt up to 52% even after 4 hours.
I am a firm believer that you should always know what is in your skincare. You may not understand it all from the start, but you should always aim to choose the most natural products on the market that you can find. I really trust Phytoceane as a brand, and I have had great success with almost their entire product line.
The key ingredients in this product are:
- Phycopur – a marine sugar extracted from brown algae and zinc. It has many purifying properties.
- Marine Samphire Oil – It is known for purifying pores. It is also proficient in smoothing and refining skin.
- Rubimarin – known as the “moisturizing gem of the sea” it is extracted from red vegetal coral.
I highly recommend this product, and all of the products available from Phytoceane. For more information visit www.lespausa.com
