The 2nd annual Miami Beach Concours Auto Show takes place over the weekend of March 19-20, 2016 at the beautiful 120-acre Miami Beach Golf Club. The event brings together professional drivers and world-renowned collectors for the ultimate celebration of extravagant automobiles against the glamorous backdrop of Miami Beach.
The Miami Beach Concours Auto Show weekend kicks off with a VIP reception on Saturday, March 19 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00. VIPs and sponsors will have exclusive access to a preview of the Concours’ finest collector vehicles, gourmet food and cocktails as well as a behind-the-scenes experience. This is a rare opportunity to meet the collectors and influential VIPs who will contribute to Sunday’s Best in Show event.
The Concours Auto Show officially opens to spectators on Sunday, March 20 at noon. In addition to prized collector cars, the show will feature live entertainment by DJ Irie, an F1 simulator competition with a $10,000 cash prize, food fare, fireworks and limited run merchandise.
Best in Show honors will be determined by a celebrity judge and Concours panel consisting of Valentino Balboni, Greg Trahcy and Master of Ceremonies Emerson Fittipaldi. Awards will be presented by Paolo Pininfarina.
The lineup includes cars from some of the world’s finest collections. Notable vehicles on display:
- A $19 million Ferrari 250 California
- A $3 million Lamborghini Miura SV
- A $6 million 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible
A portion of the proceeds from the Miami Beach Concours Auto Show will benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation. Honorary guest Marcus Luttrell, the former Navy Seal portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the film “Lone Survivor,” will be in attendance.
