Recently, Malan Breton showcased his Fall/Winter 2016 collection for men and women at Gotham Hall. His collection is called “Gotham Disco Dollies,” and it’s a tribute to Studio 54 and the glam rock era. Models fiercely strutted down the runway as music by Sylvia Tosun played in the background. Breton’s collection is sexy, vibrant, and sophisticated chic. He used wool, leather, velvet, cotton, and silk, among a number of other materials, to create contemporary, edgy styles. His use of color is impressive ranging from white, rose quartz, syrah, caramel, mauve, to ember.
Key looks included a rose quartz silk filigree suit paired with a white cotton shirt and an embroidered pocket square, a black silk shirt paired with a syrah cotton and velvet pants and a black lambskin coat, a syrah strapless dress, a syrah sequined jumpsuit, a chunky red wool sweater dress, and syrah sequined gown with cutouts. What a glamorous collection!
