If it comes to a final choice in the 2016 presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, is it a trick question to ask which candidate would be the lesser of two evils? It would appear that even the Republican party is giving the nod to Hillary Clinton.
Both of these candidates are known for having questionable integrity and limited credentials to be the president of the United States. The job of the president requires at least good business management skills. Clinton and Trump have their share of business blunders in their past. To ask the American people to choose between Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump for president, is like offering the nation a choice between a swift kick in the butt or a solid punch in the gut. Both are sure to hurt. Choose one.
It would be a punch in the gut for American voters if Hillary Clinton becomes the first woman president of the United States. Without a doubt, Hillary is the quintessential establishment choice, Despite those damned e-mails and that ugly business in Benghazi, Clinton is still standing in an exquisite designer suit. Hillary has been saying in her recent speeches that she wants to make America whole again. It is a point of contention whether this country was ever whole before, but undoubtedly Clinton is driven to make America hers again. This time, not as First Lady but as First Lady President.
Even though she previously made spurious comments in 2008 that Barack Obama chose a racist, Jeremiah Wright as his pastor and recently Hillary commented, ‘let’s get back to the issues’ as a black student protester was being ejected from one of her rallies for questions about Hillary calling black people predators, all is well with the colored vote and Hillary has the endorsement of the black community.
Donald Trump, as president, would be analogous to a swift kick in the butt for this nation. Mr.Trump exemplifies all that is entailed in being the ugly American yet, the more repulsive Trump appears, the more he appeals to the American people. Supporters are starved for what Donald is dishing out and they devour the Donald Trump Show.
If the controversy brewing over Trump University does not stop his candidacy, nothing will. A current lawsuit against Trump University may have the candidate taking time off from the campaign trail to testify in court. Strange things are happening. It was previously rumored that Hillary might be indicted on federal charges, but that would be ridiculous and never happen. Obama will pardon Hillary first.
While most of his own Republican party is trying to sabotage the front runner, Chris Christie has endorsed his former opponent. When Mitt Romney, a Republican party leader, called Trump “a fraud” last week, Trump shot back in classic sophomoric style, that Romney had previously gushed over Trump’s endorsement in 2012 and would have “dropped to his knees” Trump said of Romney, to insure the endorsement. Any viewer of the Republican debates knows that crude comments are spewed effortlessly from the pursed lips of Donald Trump, without flinching
So, on one hand, this could be the historical election of a polished, inveterate prevaricator as the first woman president of the United States or, on the other hand, send in the clowns, the circus has arrived in our nation’s capital. Even the Republican Party would rather have Hillary Clinton in the oval office over Donald Trump. Hillary knows all the players on both sides and she knows how to play ball.
