When it comes to sweet treats, ice cream tops the list. That combination of sweet with creamy can seem impossible to resist for many dieters, leading to frustration at a stalled scale. Now there’s a new option for dieters, called Arctic Zero. This line of frozen desserts manages to take the delights of ice cream with the virtues of low-calorie protein and fiber.
Arctic Zero is GMO free, lactose-free, kosher and brimming over with fabulous flavor. The company recently expanded and enhanced its line of fit frozen dessert options, ranging in calories from 75 to 35 per serving. From Cool Mint Chip to Buttery Pecan to Purely Chocolate, there’s a flavor for everyone. The ingredients include whey protein concentrate, monk fruit concentrate, fiber, and natural flavors. Each print contains 12 grams of protein and eight grams of fiber.
For example, one of the newest options is Cake Batter, with just 150 calories for the entire pint. The sweet, rich, creamy flavor tastes like licking the bowl of cake batter while providing the pleasure of ice cream. Other new options include Poppin’ Pomegranate, Banana Pudding, Cookie Dough Chip, Snickerdoodle Dandy and Brownie Blast, which range from 300 calories per pint to 150 calories per pint. Every variety has 12 grams of protein per pint.
Among the popular flavors of Arctic Zero are Cappuccino, made with real coffee; Cookie Shake, rich with cocoa; and Chocolate Peanut Butter, with natural peanut flavor. There’s something for every taste, such as Toasted Coconut, Salted Caramel, Vanilla Maple and Cool Mint Chip. With bikini season coming soon, it’s the perfect solution to satisfying cravings for something sweet without the guilt that usually accompanies a sweet treat.
For those who prefer ice cream bars, Arctic Zero also has a line of chocolate-dipped bars that are 80 calories each. Each bar contains 2 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein, with options including Mint, Salted Caramel, Vanilla and Dark Chocolate.
Tip: If you have company over and want to make Arctic Zero into something that will impress, use an ice cream scoop to pile different flavors in parfait glasses. For example, Chocolate Peanut Butter topped by Vanilla Maple topped by Toasted Coconut look fabulous. Sprinkle with real toasted coconut for a gourmet touch.
