“Livin’ Lozada” featuring reality star Evelyn Lozada has received an additional eight-episode order. The announcement was made today by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network regarding the network’s popular Saturday night freshman docu-series. OWN also announced a new eight-episode second season of “Flex & Shanice.”
“Livin’ Lozada” follows the lives of reality star Evelyn Lozada of “Basketball Wives” fame, and her 22-year-old daughter Shaniece. The premiere season of “Livin’ Lozada” brought younger viewers to the network and was the highest-rated freshman season ever for an OWN docu-series for women 18-49.
“Flex & Shanice” follows the lives of husband and wife duo, actor Flex Alexander (“One on One”), and Grammy-nominated singer Shanice (“I Love Your Smile”). The second cycle of “Flex & Shanice” was up 22% in women 25-54 versus its premiere cycle. The series also helped OWN finish 2015 as Saturday night’s #2 network on all of television for African-American women.
The series’ new episodes will premiere later this year.
