Leolah Brown has directed her latest Facebook rant against a journalist whom she claims has told “complete Lies” on her. According to a news article from Enstarz.com on April 12, Leolah has taken offense to an article written by Ruth Houston which states that Leolah Brown lacks credibility, and has a history of making false accusations and demanding to be paid for interviews.
Leolah’s Facebook rant against Ruth Houston may have been by Nick Gordon’s upcoming interview with Dr. Phil which has been widely publicized by multiple media outlets, most recently Yahoo News and Digital Spy on April 12. As Enstarz.com points out, Houston’s article entitled Leolah Brown’s Letter to Dr. Phil Full of False Accusations about Nick Gordon was written over a year ago, but apparently is has just come to the attention of Leolah Brown. Perhaps Leolah Brown’s Facebook rant against Houston is a (misguided) attempt to shore up her reputation or dispute her lack of credibility in advance of the publication of Leolah’s tell-all book on Bobbi Kristina’s death.
Unfortunately, Leolah’s attempt to defend her credibility may turn out to be a big mistake. The article written by Ruth Houston contains links to sources which confirm that CNN’s Headline News was almost involved in a defamation suit because of certain false allegations Leola Brown made. Houston’s article also contains links to sources who claim to have firsthand knowledge of Leolah Brown’s demands to be paid to give interviews concerning claims she personally made about Whitney Houston’s death.
· First of all, since Leolah Brown’s rant is based on an Inquisitr article which she refers to as a “letter” it’s clear that Leolah doesn’t know the difference between an article and a letter.
· Leolah Brown Mistakenly attributes the Inquisitr article to Ruth Houston, when in fact, the article was written by Meaghan Ellis – whose name appears prominently on the article. Obviously Leolah didn’t bother to check her facts.
· Ruth Houston’s article, entitled “Leolah Brown’s Letter to Dr. Phil Full of False Accusations about Nick Gordon” was referred to in the comment section below Meaghan Ellis’ Inquisitr article.
· Leolah is a little late to the party since Ruth Houston’s article about Leolah’s lack of credibility was written over a year ago – March 2015 to be exact. Apparently Leolah doesn’t keep up with the news or take time to check her facts.
Below are links to the cited sources on which Ruth Houston’s article about Leolah Brown’s lack of credibility was based.
Leolah Brown Wants to Get Paid
The link above from Hollywood Street King (HSK) include copies of e-mails Leolah Brown sent to Jacky Jasper of HSK, asking to be put in touch with certain well-known tabloids (Star magazine and the National Enquirer) so she could get paid for her story claiming she had proof that Whitney Houston was murdered.
Leolah ‘The Bully’ Brown Throws Tantrum @ Jacky
After telling HSK readers that Leolah turned out not to be a credible source, Leolah viciously attacked Jasper for giving the following response to HSK readers who wanted know why the promised interview with Leolah Brown never took place.
“Know why? Because HSK refused to pay Leolah Brown before trashing her interview too, just as Star Magazine and Inside Edition did.”
The links above were available to Leolah with a simple click, but as previously pointed out, Leolah apparently doesn’t bother to check her facts before embarking on her rants.
In her Facebook rant, Leolah claims she didn’t know “where they are getting their information.” If Leolah really wanted to find out the source of the information, all she had to do was click the links. Once again, it seems that Leolah doesn’t believe in taking the time to check her facts.. Had she done so, it might have saved her the embarrassment of falsely accusing Ruth Houston of telling lies on her, since the source material includes actual transcripts of correspondence between Leolah Brown and the other parties involved.
Furthermore, if Leolah Brown had taken the time to do a simple Internet search before falsely accusing people of lying on her, she would have found the following three additional (and even more reputable) sources which confirm that she (Leolah) lacks credibility and has a propensity for telling lies:
HLN statement on Leolah Brown’s Ray J claims
The link above contains the official statement made by CNN’s Headline News (HNL-TV) regarding false claims made by Leolah Brown regarding Whitney Houston’s death during an interview with Dr. Drew for CNN’s Headline News. CNN’s statement makes it clear that the network was forced to withdraw the interview Leolah did and refrain from re-airing it because CNN was threatened with legal action for the defamatory statements Leolah made. Is CNN lying on Leolah Brown, too?

The link above contains excerpts from the statement from Ray J’s attorney accusing Leolah Brown of making false statements on CNN’s Headline News.
Dr Drew, CNN regret airing Leolah Brown interview
The link above is to an article based on CNN’s statement that Headline News regrets airing the allegations Leolah Brown made.
Leolah Brown states in her rant that she’s considering taking legal action against Ruth Houston for allegedly telling “complete lies” on her. Perhaps Leolah also should consider taking legal action against CNN, Dr. Drew, Us Magazine, HLN-TV, HSK, Jacky Jasper and dozens other media outlets, as well. Apparently they’ve also “told complete lies” on her, just as Leolah falsely accuses Ruth Houston of having done.
However, as long as Leolah Brown is disputing articles Ruth Houston has written about her in the past, she might as well check out the article below: It should be interesting to hear what she has to say.
