Last Exit Live is going to be the place to be tonight as Awal Presents has its first jam packed show of 2016. Local favorite Mega Ran will begin his tour with Producer and Emcee Richie Branson. Also bringing their tour to Last Exit will be Oklahoma City based Jabee and Chopp. Entry into the 21 and up show is $7.00 and doors open at 9:00 pm with the show going until 1:00 am. Last Exit Live is located at 717 S Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
Jabee’s Grand union Media label mates Cash Lansky and MedafOracle will be performing along with Prophetiko. J20 will be Djing and Awal Pro of Awal Presents will be wearing his chef hat and bar-b-quing.
Mega Ran and Richie Branson’s last tour was in 2012. The two have collaborated on three Halloween themed albums “Ghouls N Ghosts,” and the gamer track “Super Nintendo Sega Genesis.”
Mega Ran’s latest album Soul Veggies debuted at number 188 on Billboard 200. He has successfully organized several tours a year since 2011 and has developed a strong falling in “Nerdcore” hip-hop. Mega Ran is also one of the first hip-hop artists to perform at Comicon. One of his notable nods came from LA Weekly which named him one of five rapper who will be big in 2014.
Branson is a producer and music composer as well as a hip-hop artist that has wrote a number of songs for Adult Swim. His most recent work is his co-production of critically acclaimed “Life After Death Star,” which is a Notorious B.I.G. / Star Wars underground remix album.
Jabee has four albums under his belt with the most recent release 2015’s “Lucky Me.” Jabee won an Emmy, for “Best Commercial Spot,” for his promotion of the Science Museum Oklahoma, after he penned “What If” to encourage kids to think critically and made a video with Funnel Design Group to go along with it.
Cash Lansky’s latest release is 2014’s “S.E.E.” and he also has the album Simplicity out released in 2013. He also put out a collaborative album “The Tonite Show with Cash Lansky, Marley B. and DJ Fresh.
Prophetiko recently released “More Words” in December of 2015. He is a Arizona native raised in Tempe, AZ and puts on very lively shows encouraging crowd participation on his take on old classics and delivering his own material.
Medaforacle is Phoenix based as well and has several albums under his belt, which include his 2015 release “The Soulowest.” He is known to come lyrically correct and add an element of entertainment. He also a producer and engineer and moved to Phoenix from the east coast in 2003.
Lyrical entertainment and showmanship will be on the menu tonight. All the emcees on the lineup are lyrically known and put on great stage performances that keep the crowd wanting more from this talented group of individuals. Show attendees are in store for a great show.
