Keith Urban has had quite the No.1 streak when it comes to radio singles, and it doesn’t look like it will be ending anytime soon. Urban’s second single “Break On Me” off his yet to be released album Ripcord has skyrocketed to the No.1 spot on this weeks mediabase country radio singles chart.
This means that “Break On Me” becomes Urban’s fourth straight mediabase No.1. The streak encompasses fellow Ripcord single “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and Fuse singles “Raise Em Up,” and “Somewhere In My Car.”
“Break On Me” also ranks on the mediabase charts as the most played and most heard song for the February 21-27 tracking week. The track has received -8,359 Mediabase spins (+1,171) and -58.506 million Mediabase impressions.
Truly, Urban has released a song to which we all can relate when losing a loved one or suffering from emotional trauma. He has always touched hearts with his music but this track is, however, the deepest tribute to love that he’s ever released.
The track will become Urban’s 20th No.1.
