Josh Duggar has left sex-addiction rehab as his pregnant wife Anna promotes the Duggars’ new TV show, “Jill and Jessa: Counting On,” which premieres March 15.
Josh hid out in rehab since August 2015 after cheating on Anna several times, including with porn star Danica Dillon. Sources told ET (see video) Duggar left rehab a few days ago after spending a record 7 months there.
Josh’s wife Anna, who’s rumored to be pregnant with her fifth child, stars on the new season of “Jill and Jessa: Counting On,” where she discusses Josh’s cheating and sex scandals. The Duggars have neither confirmed nor denied is Anna is pregnant, and she shrewdly hid her body in a new still photo, as Examiner has reported.
Anna initially received an outpouring of public support after Josh admitted cheating on her (twice with porn star Danica Dillon), but fans have since turned on her because she insists on standing by her husband and the Duggar family. Fans are disgusted by what they consider Anna’s weak will.
“She has NO self-esteem, sad because is such a pretty girl that could do MUCH better than Josh,” wrote one woman. “Too bad she has been brainwashed by the cult.”
Another fan blasted TLC for giving the Duggars a public platform and making them famous:
TLC are just low-life money grubbers who will do anything for ratings (just like the Duggars).
They need to get jobs and stop birthing litters of children!”
“19 Kids and Counting” was canceled in July 2015 amid news that Josh had sexually molested five underage girls — including four of his sisters — when he was 14.
Two of the Duggar girls who were molested — Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard — blamed the media for sensationalizing the controversy. However, some fans say the girls are complicit in the Duggar conspiracy to minimize child molestation.
The Duggars are desperate to regain their TV fame and fortune after earning $25,000 to $45,000 per episode of “19 Kids and Counting.” In 2015, the Duggar family reportedly lost over $25 million on lost book deals, endorsements and speaking engagements.
The Duggar children said they miss being famous and are thrilled to return to TV. The new season of “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” premieres March 15.
